  2. No, when you hit post and then remember something, and it also adds something to the discussion, how is it spam? Spam should be judged by itself, not the post previous. We see back to back in long threads when people are catching up and quoting previous material. Back to back doesn't automatically make it spam. Adding bulls*** to increase your post total is.
  3. If E-lo or Mark go down, we start selling and bringing in youth. No way we can win the division without those two. Sho or Garland would be problamatic, and again, we probably would be dealing Maggs at the deadline and picking up some prospects.
  4. People need to get familar with the edit tool. If you hit post, and then remember something else, just edit your post, don't start a new one. Not every short answer is spam, not every long post isn't. I find it more annoying arguing about the spam then the actual spam.

Also, be careful what each you visit is loading on your system. The #1 source of spy ware is being drunk and surfing porn.
  6. Too bad we didn't have the same money for a solid major league starter like the Yankess, Astros, and Angels had.
  7. THe umpire instigated the 2nd inning confrontation. CC never said a word until the ump took off his mask and started jawing at CC. ESPN announcers fell all over themselves pointing out how CC was correct.

If we reported the murders in Chicago with the same furver as these beheadings, we'd finally realize how violent America is. On an average almost 2 people per day are murdered in Chicago. Yes beheadings are horrific, but isn't any murder a tragedy?
  9. Uribe has always gotten off to a hot start and cooled. This year he is cooling at a higher level. As long as he doesn't cool to the Mendoza line, like he has in the past, no worries.
  10. During the 1st inning I would have said hell yes, by the 7th, maybe not. I think KW should be looking for a #3 not a #5 and consider Sho the #5. Colon
  11. Corporate deals are always in the backroom. When I was in High School, some of the big program HS coaches had personal shoe contracts. Guess where there kids signed with? Yep, College programs with the same shoe program. Too bad Nike didn't want him as a supervisor for their child labor camp in Malaysia.

Is this your primary residence? Are you buying another or taking the profit? Watch the tax implications also.

Hey I watch Law and Order all the way to the finish . . .

I was pre-law right after pre-med I just have spent enough money on attorneys to claim a couple as dependents. Steff in all seriousness, while being your own salesperson is more an aggravation than anything else, I would not recommend being your own attorney. The closing should be under $500 and well worth it. A competent real estate attorney who has closed on homes before can help in more ways than just law.

Are these new requirements? I can never remember having a housing inspection by the village, city, county etc.

I entered into one contract were we agreed on an attorney. It went ok, but I always had a nagging doubt that I could have done better with my own. Turns out the other party always felt the same way. I can honestly say I have never felt cheated by paying for good professional advice and consultation.

It is the buyer who should arrange the inspection. If she's a friend, you may have a uncomfortable situation. Basically you are telling her she isn't worth her pay check. Be careful, only you know how her and how she will react. Since you already have a buyer, you are probably better off investing that money in a good real estate attorney. Back to your friend, will yu be buying another house? Why not package the deal and say we'll use you to buy the next one, I've already sold this home, help us with the paperwork process for $X%
  18. This is a new show on Fox.

If you do not have a buyer lined up be prepared to be pinned down at home to show the house. Be prepared for people who want all the savings you are generating by not having a realtor. Be prepared for home inspection reports showing different things that may be major, may not be. Be knowledgable about what information you are legally obligated to disclose, and which you are not. Be prepared for realtors to want and show your house for a buyer's fee. With some research and planning you could do it just fine.
  20. It may also hinge on what mid season pick ups we make. Who knows, KW may look at a player with 1 1/2 seasons left.
  21. When KW calls, any GM starts to salivate. The Sox will have to overpay to fill any holes. Either cash or minor league talent. Or go with what we have and try and win a division.
  22. Being a fan is all about hope and looking to the future.
  23. Scho showed some rebound after the first yesterday. I forgot who mentioned they consider Scho the #5 and the way he's pitching, I think that's correct. Even if Rauch starts pitching like #5 we'll still have to make a deal if we are serious about a pennant run.
