It was ironic last year the Football champ came from the Big 10 and the Basketball from the Big XII I can say this Football is huge in this neck of the woods (Texas) my son's High School stadium seats like 10,000 and will be sold out throught the HS playoffs. I couldn't even do justice to the Oklahoma-UT and UT-A&M games. Those games make the Bears-Packers seem like a Sunday picnic game of two hand touch.

A guy I worked with modeled for a couple years. He started to meet really beautiful women. He figured he'd be the only male model hitting on them. Wrong. All the other male models were hitting on the girls. Good money but long hours.

Cloudy and overcast here as well. At least the temp is down into the 80s. I'm taking 20 or so teenage boys camping in Corpus Cristi this weekend, I'm hoping for some cool night time temps.

I know the pain Tex. A few days before Christmas marks the 25th anniversary of my uncle's death. He was killed by a drunk driver. My dad said that he never wanted to find out what happened legally to the driver (the guy walked away with scratches and a bruise or two) because one, it wouldn't bring him back and two if killing someone didn't change the guy's ways, nothing would. He also said at the time in Ireland, the laws were different and he imagined not much probably happened. My uncle was to be married the next year. I'm just thankful his passenger wasn't seriously injured. At the funeral three girls almost got in a fight because each of them was describing herself as his girlfriend. And the reason he got so drunk and pissed was a different girl had dumped him that night.
