My son is on page 425 after receiving his via the Fed Ex guy on Saturday morning.
  2. Well said! gracias.
  3. My thought is simple Mark, grow the f*** up. You're getting paid to play for the White Sox. Forget every other team and concentrate on who's making you a very wealthy man.
  4. Which tells us how far we really have to go. Just winning a weak division ain't all that cool.
  5. My Bulls seats at the old stadium were in the last row of the balcony. Great before standing room crowds. You could slide out the back of your seat and go get a beer. No climbing over anyone. When a good team was in town we could upgrade at the ticket office for a few bucks. Great fans all around us. One guy was the funniest guy ever.

On men they would be Plus 4s or knickers ol' chap.
  7. Truer words have never been spoken. However, on the bright side, Mark may have just become a Sox. He wants to rip the M-f ScRubs. Gotta love him for that. or is he auditioning for St. Louis
  8. ncorgbl you've always talked about distractions in the clubhouse hurting this team . . . Now if we do wind up waving the white flag I'm all for inviting her and a few friends to finish out the season There are always priorities in life. I have mine. And they are in perfect alingment
  9. Maybe without Lou Pinella as MGR. But it would be a quick series. I would almost rather face the Yankees. Almost rather? I would in a heartbeat.

BTW and FWIW if you quietly wear them no one will probably complain except the 5'5" piglet and even then it may not cause any concern. A "you mean these?" may go farther then a stick it in your arse approach. just my .02 YMMV
  11. No big deal: we catch them after being down 1 at the break. Not that newsworthy: We catch them after being 3 down at the break. Newsworthy: We catch them after being 5 down at the break. Unbelievable: We catch them after being 7 down at the break. We'll be telling the grandbabies: We catch them after being 10 down at the break. What I'm trying to show here is coming back from 5 games back with 70/80 games left isn't that big of a deal. Not only are we on the same lap as the leaders but we're smelling their exhaust. I wouldn't be waving the white flag in July unless we are 8 games back. It's not like we're trying to catch the Mariners. Another point to ponder. Let's say we do make the playoffs and our first series is against the Mariners, do we win a game?

I don't know that's true. Don't you think about it more if you're not getting any? Kind of like being hungry. At 9:00 I might have thought a bit about lunch but man at 11:15 it was #1 on my list.
  13. And it looks like he will. Good luck with his attitude about pitching in Minny. Gee, he prefers a NL park to an AL park. Suck it up Mark and make it three in a row.

    Thank you for sharing. ROTFLMAO
  16. Amazing how well they played when charged up for the cHubs. Of course getting off to a 6 run 1st should fire up any team.
  17. Still it's an indication of who we need to build a rotation around. I have a hard time understanding a trade of Bart or Mark. I believe we have the start of a strong rotation for the next 5+ years. Stop the merry-go-round and build a winner.
  18. The series in Chicago will tell a lot. It would be very sad to see a small crowd and the Sox lose 2 or 3 games. If we win the series at home and grab a game in Minnesota we'll at least be treading water.
  19. Yes it was. Tough to be a great father when you have a job that keeps you on the road for most of the year, groupies hanging out, etc. I've never really looked at his stats, would he be considered for the HoF if he hadn't died?
  20. Do you think he wanted to exit while he still had a chance for a W and not a L? Could he be thinking his record and how it would impact his future? That may explain getting tired. As in tired of struggling around .500
  21. The way we've played this season I believe 3-3 is taking it to them 4-2 or 5-1 would be a dream
  22. We've had some discussions reagarding a trade of this guy or that guy. Based on what you've seen to date, and assuming they are on the team next year, which Sox pitcher will lead the team in wins *next* season?
  23. I wouldn't be too quick in getting rid of Bart. I like the start of a rotation with Bart and Mark. E-Lo may be around for a few more seasons, maybe not. Garland is starting to impress me. He reminds me of my golf game one or two bad innings (holes) away from really being a player. At worse he's the third best starter we have this season and probably our 2nd best. I'm going to post a poll regarding our future at pitcher and see who would pick Colon next season over Mark, E-Lo, etc.
