  1. I'd be willing to consider a single thread by topic. But I'd be considering it from a position of no, but willing to listen My biggest issue is the stuff spills over into all the other areas. Arguments about climate change cause the tone in a thread about the AL Central schedule to turn negative.
  2. The Four Seasons Landscaping stuff is hilarious.
  3. Not judging others people's beliefs, we're judging Greg775, a character that you created. There is a big difference. You've used that character to (in the most negative language used) troll this site, or in a more positive phrase, to challenge the vast majority of poster's opinions. You've always known when you are touching the boundaries and I have no doubt that you are aware that you are in spittin' distance of the electric fence.
  4. Really I recall a case brought before the 2nd US Court of Appeals that sided against the President.
  5. Twitter didn't, the Constitution and courts did. They also prevented him from blocking anyone. After he leaves office he can block anyone and really crank up the echos.
  6. To everyone in Texas that had a Jesus 2020 sign next to their Trump sign -- God answered your prayer. God has a thing against hookers and hate.
  7. Please Joe keep your promise. Respect all Americans. There are different paths to the same goal. Compromise. Be kind. Tell the truth. Make us proud. Kamala take the stage. Blaze the path but don't scorch the earth. Be our next President.
  8. It finally feels real. What a great feeling!!
  9. When I hear the calls for unity I realize what I thought four years ago about uniting behind Trump. I expect the same from his supporters and will not criticize anyone for lawful protests.
  10. We have four years to be more efficient at stealing elections. We should have wins locked up before voting starts. Somewhere out east MOMMY!! JOE STOLE MY VOTES!!!
  11. Welcome to Day Five. Those of us who have experienced a contentious divorce understand the feeling of why won't you just stop talking and go away? Break the china and take the souvenir bottle opener from Daytona Beach and leave.
  12. Trump flipped Obama supporters to get in office. If he dove to the middle while in office, and ratcheted up the uniter rhetoric, he would have been unstoppable. But he didn't take the political risk.
  13. Agreed. But so many votes on so many topics keep going based on straight party lines.
  14. No doubt. I'd like to have both. I appreciate Collins showing a small amount of independence and willingness to cross the aisle. I'd also appreciate a Dem doing the same. I think we need more independence.
  15. We're allowing any student to choose asynchronous instruction and the vast majority are staying home. Students that pick in person are on campus every other day. I teach all seniors. Today one showed up. An orchestra student who needs to be on campus.
  16. For what it's worth I'm happy Kelly won in Arizona and I'm not really broken up that Collins won in Maine.
  17. In 2000 I had played golf that afternoon and eventually four of us left our club about 4 am while watching the results. Felt bad for the staff member who had to stay. I'll remember 2020 as spending days with y'all. Thank you. As a long time poster here there are so many moments that have become interwoven with Soxtalk.
  18. I'm imagining a rock paper scissors contest among staff to determine who tells him bad results.
  19. Danny, it's an act for years. Laugh like the rest of us and move on.
  20. No one wants to be the next Chicago Daily Tribune.
  21. Which network will be the first to call the race? I'm betting on Fox News.
  22. Aren't those fun? I had mine at MD Anderson before seeing my oncologist and couldn't believe how far back they can reach with that swab. The second one is worse because you know what's coming.
