The fact that pollsters are calling Texas a battleground feels good after 20 years of feeling my votes didn't count. I have always lived in solidly blue areas of the state but I knew state wide it didn't matter. If feels great to think my candidates have a chance.

Texas is in play because of Dell, Tesla, Texas Instruments, Austin, transplants like me lol, and the border communities. As Texas cities grow we are becoming more blue.
