I remember watching him in person at a game. I was really young but I remember the crowd mood shifting and that anticipation, not wanting to miss anything. The next time I felt that at a game was Frank and he took it to a completely different level.

This is what win now looks like. -
What an ass. I did think Rudy was a decent major.

Wow. Not everybody loves him. Wow. Not everybody hates him. When was he arrested last? That's really all I'm interested in now a days. -
I have to believe there are a hundred doctors that could fill that role making this symbolic as much as strategic. I love the move.

A good friend of mine just tested positive. His son caught it a month ago. His daughter in a separate case last week. He just didn't dodge it enough. He was the most careful of the golf coaches I saw regularly.

Yes. I can't believe preemptive pardons are even a thought.

My restaurant situation is similar. I know everyone by name there and it's 99% take out. Plus he sanitizes like crazy between customers, his business depends in it. Most of our shows are at a hotel banquet facility and I see the steps they are taking to stay safe, and I'm comfortable enough there to perform.

I'm guilty of being inconsistent. My job puts me at risk that I try to mitigate as best as possible. I'm rarely without a mask, but there is one restaurant I will dine in at. I am careful to keep my distance from strangers but my assistant coach is basically in my family. I am wearing a mask during practice but my players are not and I'm close for more than a few minutes. I few months back I visited a winery and enjoyed a few glasses of wine and food but stayed 15 to 20 feet away from anyone. My theater group is performing but in my roll I'm wearing a mask and keeping my distance. "Family" extends to my kid's spouse's families as well. I'm getting haircuts but not as often as I usually would. I've picked up books from the library because I trust the head librarian than the books have been quarantined. Bottom line for the last three weeks we've had at least one student each day test positive, today we had two. One of my players has symptoms and is self quarantining while waiting on a test. With all the risks at work what I do personally doesn't seem as risky if I could work from home.

I'm thinking I'll be consistent no matter who the president is with this call to action. The president should not be allowed to pardon someone for a crime the president was involved in or benefited from.

I assume some people will start calling it the US Flu?

It's not safe to go anywhere. Any interactions with other people are unsafe. From delivery drivers, to health care workers, to the person that pumped gas before you and now you're grabbing that nozzle. Just stay home if you can. Those posts are a great reminder, but I doubt they are real based on the time line. But who knows.

I'm keeping my Biden Unity sign up until after the inauguration or my HOA complains.

Holy shit we've been here a long time.

Sad moment today. I stopped by a garage sale to look at some woodworking tools that were advertised. The owner lost his job as a bartender and is losing his house. The guy was thankful his kids are all grown and out of the house. I felt like an ass but what he was asking for the tools was triple their value, in one case more than a current new one. I made an offer but he refused. I hope a more generous person or an ignorant buyer finds his sale. Thank you senators for not coming together with a bailout for individuals.

I saw a sticker on a car that said Trump 2020 Make Liberals Cry Again I'm wondering if part of his appeal is having "your guy" so hated by the other team. Policy wise he wasn't that crazy *based on conservative ideals*. What set him apart, and drove most of us crazy, was the rhetoric that we found so offensive. It's not on the same level but there were plenty of Bulls fans cheering a Rodman rebound that booed him pretty hard when he was wearing a Piston's Jersey. He's a dangerous adversary and I hope he finds an outlet away from running again. I made the mistake of wishing he'd get the nomination four years ago.

You'd really last even longer if you put on a different sock puppet. I can image greg776 as less reactionary and more introspective. Perhaps even posting a more in depth thought than the surface panic of greg775. Actually I'd personally really enjoy that. But it's difficult to kill off a character.

That would be so awesome to watch as he's being evicted. I image the sheriff tossing his stuff on the curb. Fortunately our country is stronger than one man regardless of position.

Presidents shouldn't nominate for vacancies in their final year. Let the voters decide. This could be a long thread if we start playing name the hypocrisy.

I believe serving in the military now comes with a path for legal status. In the past you had to die and it would be granted posthumously.

Trump did say if you want federal help you had to be nice to him. Illinois wasn't nice. Until we know how many and which manufacturers are up and running it seems like speculation.
