I believe the unstructured time of a wake is much different then the typical funeral. There is too little time to gather with friends and relations during the funeral. It is usually too scripted and too formula. There are many variations on a wake, but I eblieve they all have value in the grieving process.

Lately, when I hear Republicans I think Kap, SS, etc or when I hear Democrats I think Balta, Jim, Rex and it really puts things in perspective. If it doesn't fit for those guys, then I reject it.
