Agreed on Megan Fox and Rihanna. Fox has a nice body but her face is atrocious to me. Rihanna is just plain too weird for me.

QUOTE (nitetrain8601 @ Mar 10, 2011 -> 08:19 PM) They don't. Neither does Illinois unless they make the championship game. In recent years no they wouldn't deserve a seed, but this year is so damn weak.

Viciedo fractures thumb during ST game on HBP
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Mar 10, 2011 -> 05:45 PM) At least we can stop hearing talk about dumping Teahen and breaking camp with DV. Why, I always wanted Teahen to be gone and replaced by somebody else not named Dayan Viciedo.

Viciedo fractures thumb during ST game on HBP
He was going to start at AAA anyways, so Im not overly concerned. And 3-4 weeks isnt too bad, nothing you want him to miss but it's not close to as big as Mitchell.

QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Mar 10, 2011 -> 04:37 PM) LOL, believe it or not, I have given thought to the idea that if I ever did run for an elected office, there is always the chance someone could connect these posts to me and use them against me somehow. Deleting 26k + posts would be tough to do.

Rock Band March Madness
QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Mar 9, 2011 -> 11:48 PM) The Wall by Roger Waters was the best concert Ive ever been too. The Wall was one of my least favorite Pink Floyd albums, but after seeing it live I think Comfortably Numb may be one of my favorites. The only bad part was that it just wasnt the same without Gilmour playing the guitar. Generally my favorite album was Animals, with Three Pigs being normally my favorite song. Pink Floyd isnt for everyone though. This.

ST: 3/8 vs Rockies
QUOTE (soxsider11 @ Mar 9, 2011 -> 02:03 AM) O and whoever mentioned Aaron Rowand I highly doubt it and don't want him over teahan. Thanks for 05 and you were my favorite player on the team but he is making 12 mil the next two years (compared to the 10 for teahan) and at 33 coming off a season with 102 games due to injury and performance what do you expect out of him besides the continuance of declining numbers and defense? Well to credit the poster he did say that the Giants would have to even the salaries. Teahen most likely will be barely replacement level, same with Rowand, thus I don't really see it being a productive trade since the Sox are pretty weak for backup infielders. Yes, they have Vizquel and Lillibridge, but Im not banking on anything from either, especially Lillibridge who is just plain awful. And it's Teahen.

Rock Band March Madness
QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Mar 9, 2011 -> 12:39 AM) How do you rate popularity? If you do it by albums sold, LZ blew The Who out of the water. Same with Pink Floyd, Rolling Stones and The Beatles, all bands who were also seeded above The Who. I didn't grow up in the era, hell Im only 21 yrs old, but The Who had 17 top ten albums, LZ had 9 I believe. From what I heard from many people who lived in that era, The Who were much more popular than LZ, but LZ has appealed to the following generations much more. Now I could be wrong on this, but this is from a few people I know that are huge music fans that grew up on this music. And Im not trying ot take away anything from LZ, they were one of the first artists that I bought a CD from, and are truly a great band and have done wonders for the music world. I also find it amazing that I can consistently go back and listen to Pink Floyd and love it each time, that is one band that is so unique yet so exceptional.

Rock Band March Madness
QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Mar 9, 2011 -> 01:06 AM) You can say that again. I was actually surprised they were ranked #3, they usually get disrespected a lot more (Rolling Stone listing them as #29 on the list Soxbadger posted earlier). For as popular and influential as they were (they blew LZ out of the water in popularity), they really should be a 1 or 2 seed.

Rock Band March Madness
The Who gets overlooked a lot it seems, and the Clash are probably the most underrated on that list. Also, Metallica sucks balls, cannot stand them.

ST: 3/8 vs Rockies
QUOTE (soxsider11 @ Mar 8, 2011 -> 07:36 PM) That is very little speed to come off the bench. Milledge only had 5 sbs last year compared to lillibridges 16. Just sayin cause that could come into the decision SB's are not a good way to judge speed. Milledge would be fine off the bench as a pinch runner, and you wouldn't lose much in terms of speed while having a better bat off the bench. And if Ozzie really wants speed he would most likely choose De Aza.

Everyone loves it but me
QUOTE (Iwritecode @ Mar 8, 2011 -> 11:26 AM) Beer and coffee. I can’t stand the taste of either one. Music. It’s not that I don’t like music. I just don’t get into it as much as most people. Most of the time I’m perfectly happy listening to whatever is playing on the radio. I got an MP3 player a few years ago for Christmas and put a couple dozen songs on it but I rarely used it. I ended up giving it to my daughter when hers quit working. I just got a newer MP3 player this past Christmas but I have yet to actually add any songs to it. Football. I like to play it sometimes both in real life and as a video game. I’ll watch a few Bears games during the season but I really can’t call myself a fan. If they win, that’s cool. If they lose, no big deal. Baseball has always been my first sports love. Any number of popular TV shows like The Office, Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead, etc… I might like them if I actually sat down and watched them but I just don’t have the time right now. What do you do in the baseball offseason then???

QUOTE (farmteam @ Mar 7, 2011 -> 09:00 PM) I've liked the first few episodes of Chicago Code. Also, because of this thread, I'll be starting Shameless soon. Shameless is one of, if not the, best new shows.
