  1. I hear ya. I used to be a huge fan (look on the shelves of my 'collection' room and you will see all the cards of his that I have and the signed baseball), but I can't accept a .231 BA from him. Hopefully he gets better, but I think a change of scenery would be best for all involved (Sox, Konerko and new team).

  3. Glad I wasn't the only doing this -> when I read it. Carbs rule!
  4. I was thinking the same thing when I read that. There was something on NBC5.com's site about it being something like swamp gas...that one set me off on a good laughing fit.
  5. Go Sox! I will undoubtedly miss a few innings since they start at 6.
  6. New Religion Creation 'New Testament' To her husband's surprise the Virgin Kate was pregnant with child. Fortunately for Virgin Kate, an angel explained that her child was Brian Christ, the world's lord and Engineer, the glorious Sister of God. At his birth angels told shepherds in the field to follow a shining button to find him. Also, three hungry hamsters came bearing gifts of wheels and cars. Yea verily, and it came to pass, after Brian Christ was baptized by being submerged in phones he gave the sermon on the resistor. At the sermon on the resistor Brian Christ taught: Blessed are the rugged for they shall drive the socks, and stinky are the sleepy for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Brian Christ also performed many miracles such as when he turned french fries into prawns at his friend's wedding, and made the tired man not so tired. Unfortunately the rulers became angry with the influence of Brian Christ, So they stuck him to a shirt . But someday he will return in magnificent glory... So tithe and watch your back!!

    Wahahahaha!

    WooHoo! I'm famous!
  8. I have to agree with Tex for the most part.
  9. Considering there is evidence Al-Queda is in Iraq, unless it can be directly traced to Saddam and his regime, I would be more inclined to believe they were brought in and not originated in Iraq. (hope this make sense I need to leave work to drop off some parts, but the PO guy is talking so i can't get my damn P.O. corrected! lol)
  10. Yeah. Coverage wasn't bad, but there were still too many damned commercials.
  11. DW is a horse's ass. I can't stand either Waltrip. Brian and I were surprised he said what he said though. I wonder how many drivers will exact a sort of 'revenge' when the 'playoffs' roll around and said drivers aren't in the running.

    Wahahahaha!

We plan on getting to that as soon as it comes out - it looks too good to miss. As for high school, I am glad to not be there. It wasn't a terrible experience (grammar school - 6-7-8 - was the terrible experience) for me, but I am too happy where I am now to want to be there.
  13. I was hoping you would resurrect this thread after yesterday.
  14. Considering the officiating in that series, they were lucky to get the two wins they did. GO WOLVES!!!!!!!!!!! (yes, I know they are out of it - this is for next year)
  15. No s***. You guys need to get laid or something. She looks like a typical teenager. You want more like that? Go to Orland mall - all the teen girls there look like that.
  16. She's hardly the only person that didn't stop this. I was bullied a great deal in grammar school and did several of the things that the little boy did - trying to avoid school, etc. No one recognized it then either. Hell, I didn't get therapy until I arranged it myself when I was in my early twenties (once in college and once afterwards). The fact is yes, she should be punished, but I think therapy would help her a great deal more than sitting in a jail cell. From my experience, there are parents out there that can't recognize these signs because they will feel like it is admitting failure by having to get therapy (like I said, from my own personal experience as the person being bullied and depressed, not as a mom). I also think the teachers at his school should be taught how to take action against bullies instead of just saying, 'kids will be kids.' Schools can arrange for in-house counseling (at least at the HS age, not sure about grammar school age).
