I have MLB.tv and have for like 4 seasons now, it's great. Last year it sucked but they ironed out the issues it seems. I also love it because I splurged on a Roku Player that allows me to stream the games on my TV as well as picking up and iPod touch with the MLB app that allows me to watch games on it with a WiFi signal. I've definitely become more of a White Sox and baseball fan in general since getting the package. I don't have cable, so when there's nothing else on I'll watch the most intriguing game offered; or even archived games that are worth seeing i.e. no-nos or historic moments or just catching old Sox action. My favorite part about it ironically is that the Yankees and Mets are blacked out due to my region, and without cable I don't have to follow baseball through YES and SNY. Although I definitely miss MLB Network. Enough suckin of MLB.tv's kook. I'm in awe of this team and what we've done after April and May. My Old Man who is a Twins fan was more sold on the team than I was after I saw us beat the Nats in the Strausburg game in D.C. It's just so awesome that the NL feasting has rolled over into our AL play. We are also totally winning games that we lost earlier in the year by 1 or 2 runs. The pitching has come around. And the offense. Man the past few weeks it seems like they don't let down even with a lead. It's just awesome to see and very surreal thinking about my emotions following the ugly losses to Cleveland so many many moons ago. Let's keep it up SOX!

If Bieber and Jayden Smith taught us anything, it's that we must "Fight til forever!" so let's keep on fighting

QUOTE (justBLAZE @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 09:10 PM) Lillibieber? As an out of state fan I don't mind a rain delay because I get to listen to The Score which I don't usually do.

Ah yes, DH! The perfect spot for The Kid to show off his stuff!

Sox vs Cubs 6-25 game thread 3:05 first pitch

Let's go Sox! I'm wearing my Erstad jersey shirt today at a summer camp I work at. Spreading GrindErstad knowledge to uninterested kids is fun. -
I'm in. Went to Nationals Park Friday night, Center Field Premium seats, row D. Real close to Rios when he was out there. I wore my Justin Bieber Jersey-T. I expected to get heckled hard. All I got was a very poor man's heckler fat man who by the 7th inning cut off was just yelling "RIOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOS!" the whole f***ing inning. Now, I'm sitting next to my brother who is a Cubs fan. He's got more s*** than me the whole night and naturally so but there were a ton of stupid Cubs fans in the park and even in our section wearing their gear just to chear against the White Sox. Anyhow, fatty mcgee gets to my Cubbie fan brother more than me (I'm gotten a lot worse in Cleveland) and so he starts cheering for the Sox. When Rios ripped his game winning RBI in the 11th, we both just turned right around and did the "RIOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOS!" right back in his face and blatantly high-fived. It was the most exciting Sox game I've been to. I know it's a sweep of s*** teams, but I'm in it to win it. I wore the Bieber jersey t-shirt the night the White Sox handed Strasburg his first no decision. Baby, baby, baby ooooo...

FOX TV Change for June 19th Sox and Nationals

WOW. I got tickets to Friday's game already; was just looking forward to getting to see Mark pitch live... now I get to see Strasburg AGAIN! (Saw him in Rochester in May, was filthy good against Jauqe Jones and the Rochester Red Wings). -
Does/can anyone DVR it on their computer? I don't live in Chicago and would love to catch this.

Joe Cowley says our season is over: do you agree?
claydude14 replied to whitesoxfan101's topic in Pale Hose Talk
I will still watch the games and find in enjoyment in what I can, but f*** it's depressing to not even be able to pretend we are still in it like last year and it's only June. I'm seeing the team in D.C. in a few weeks and again in September in Boston, I wonder how different the roster will be. -
I share mlb.TV with my brother, and we watch games at the same time all the time; from different physical locations. Have done so for the past 4 years. As far as linking different PS3s, IDK, but with just computers we've never had a problem being logged in at the same time. I have a Roku player, basically a streaming video cable box type thing that I watch mlb.TV on on my TV. It's great and functions similar to the PS3 app as far as accessing/watching games. If I had known the PS3 was going to get MLB.TV I probably would have held out and bought one of those instead, but the Roku does it's job well.

What Lillibridge also does is bring another young, Bieber looking face into the clubehouse to keep The Fever high and players loose.

I'm all for another round of Lilli, but that's just me.

Look whatchya'll interweb users have done made me go done do:

I'm a 24 year old dude. As straight as a dude man can be. I just get some man crushes sometimes. The Biebs Feves is like a Mini-Man Crush I guess. Blame the "media" and the bah gawd "unmanly man agenda" in America today! Honestly, I've been waiting on another 08 Q year to buy a real jersey; and want a real jersey Beckham. I get enjoyment out of the players like Erstad and Lillibridge- gotta find guilty pleasures in every game. I've since aquired those jersey t-shirts, and feel that so far the only thing to excite me in 2010 has been the fever in the clubhouse surrounding Bieber.
-
I've been sitting on an MLB.com gift card and was planning on ordering a jersey t-shirt of someone on the team who won my heart within the first month. I'm considering a Bieber #10 shirt now. I must admit, this whole thing caused me to download his album, and I've caught the Bieber Fever. Eenie Meanie is a great track, Biebs and Sean Kingston come on what's not to love?

Finally! A trophy for bragging rights to a meaningless rivalry!

The passport requirement to get into Canada this season will probably hurt the Jays attendance. I know I didn't go up like I usually do.

I over react every game on a small basis. I learned this from listening to Hawk. I've taught myself that solo shots are my favorite kind of home run and small things like that to ensure that I even enjoy our losing efforts.

QUOTE (Stocking @ Apr 6, 2010 -> 08:18 PM) any1 else having mlb.tv problems? hope its just an opening week thing. I had problems getting the archived game to play Monday night which frustrated the hell out of me. Hopefully it's working better tonight. Before they switched to NexDef or whatever it is last season I never ever had a problem with mlb.tv. Last season was horribly laggy with broadcasts cutting in and out. And their service department aren't a help at all. They'll just blame you for doing something wrong rather than try and actually improve their service. I'm thinking about picking up a Roku player: http://www.roku.com/mlb-partner Basically just a box for your TV that does live streaming video; so you could use it for Netflix and some other things as well. A review I read said it worked much better than streaming games on even their high powered laptop.

My hopes for the White Sox's reality show

AJ as Dwight. Beckham as Ryan. I think the most important question would be who would be Creed? -
QUOTE (SnB @ Mar 17, 2010 -> 01:30 PM) I think the holy grail right now would be a darin erstad jersey. There has to be a few out there. I have toyed with buying a custom Erstad jersey shirt many, times. Probably too many times. Probably to the point where I am one bad drunk online shopping spree away from getting one. Of course, a jersey is another story. If I got a Grinderstad I'd prolly want the road gray. edit: f***! I just impulse bought one on ebay right after this post for about $10 shipped. My life is complete? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...e=STRK:MEWNX:IT

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Mar 12, 2010 -> 01:45 PM) Quentin didn't break his wrist on a foul ball, he broke it by hitting it up against the bat after making an out, so the reports went. I know he broke it punching the bat or whatever, I thought that it happened after he had fouled one off and before making the eventual out. I was implying perhaps hearing the "MVP" chants had something to do with the ferocity with which he hit his bat; I recall he wasn't fond of all the talk at the time.

QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Mar 11, 2010 -> 03:11 AM) You wore a Swisher shirt... ...heckled Rios... ...with Yankees fans... ...and were thrown out. Swisher was traded to the Yankees because you taunted a player wearing his shirt with their fans, and Rios is here as vengeance. We won't talk about the fact I was within earshot of home plate in Cleveland in 2008 trying to start an "MVP" chant as Quentin fouled off a pitch from Cliff Lee and fractured his wrist in the 9th inning... like the New Yankee Stadium incident; we just won't talk about it.
