Seems weird to be cheering for the Yankees to beat the Guardians. Banks ERA down to a respectable 3.27 now. Joc Pederson must think he's going for mid to late 80's glam rock look but looks more like Star Wars cantina thug.

That's pretty uncharacteristic. Belt has multiple Gold Gloves. But Pederson isn't that good...especially as he has put on weight and gotten older. So does Brandon Crawford, who's currently out. Pretty sure Longoria also has Gold Gloves.

It was certainly a lot easier in the NL with pitchers hitting. But then a ton of PHers. Abreu has gone from one homer every 12.6 to roughly one per 30ish at bats over the last two seasons.

If the White Sox do fall out of this...they really need to protect Cease and Kopech at all costs. Seven consecutive 100+ pitch starts doesn't usually end well.

The one way a Sox player hasn't gotten hurt yet this season... Great job by Cease. Just wonder how long he can hold together physically with that much torque on all those sliders...seems to know this is his last hitter.
