  1. They definitely are smart enough not to plug Pollock into their RF. (And I still can't believe they're recalling Jimenez to play next week.)
  2. Who do the Yankees have in LF or DH? Rizzo/Stanton/Judge sometimes...but today it's Miguel Andujar in LF.
  3. Seems weird to be cheering for the Yankees to beat the Guardians. Banks ERA down to a respectable 3.27 now. Joc Pederson must think he's going for mid to late 80's glam rock look but looks more like Star Wars cantina thug.
  4. Nice effort by Vaughn there going into second...Robert hits into too many DPs for someone with that speed. But so does Anderson.
  5. Pollock would somehow turn into Rizzo over there...not sure Gallo plays better defense anymore. Better arm though. Definitely can play RF better.
  6. SoxTalk generally liked that move until sentiment finally turned against Hahn this year. Or the move was blamed on TLR, who never wanted Kimbrel in the first place.
  7. Screw the Orioles. Of course Lopez is on fantasy team lol. 1st/3rd. One out bottom 9.
  8. https://www.espn.com/mlb/stats/team/_/view/fielding/table/fielding/sort/fieldingPct/dir/desc White Sox tied for worst fielding percentage. Giants below average at 19th.
  9. That's pretty uncharacteristic. Belt has multiple Gold Gloves. But Pederson isn't that good...especially as he has put on weight and gotten older. So does Brandon Crawford, who's currently out. Pretty sure Longoria also has Gold Gloves.
  10. Terrible terrible terrible at bat. Would v have been better off with Kimbrel hitting.
  11. Moncada at least has the muscles to absorb that hype of hit by pitch. Baltimore lead in Minny has become much more tenuous into the 9th. 3-2 now. Not sure if Lopez avail again.
  12. Kelly claims he can but they have been super careful with Graveman... Definitely figure to see Lopez here. Isn't Foster the one with reverse splits? That would play with so many lefties.
  13. It was certainly a lot easier in the NL with pitchers hitting. But then a ton of PHers. Abreu has gone from one homer every 12.6 to roughly one per 30ish at bats over the last two seasons.
  14. If the White Sox do fall out of this...they really need to protect Cease and Kopech at all costs. Seven consecutive 100+ pitch starts doesn't usually end well.
  15. The one way a Sox player hasn't gotten hurt yet this season... Great job by Cease. Just wonder how long he can hold together physically with that much torque on all those sliders...seems to know this is his last hitter.
