  1. They were unlikely to mount a rally against Barnes, but Eaton’s also lost a couple of steps in RF as well.
  2. 2020-21 sucks for myriad reasons except for that 32-15 start, no no and Giolito/Crochet/Robert in the postseason.
  3. Mlb extra innings or mlb.tv? Looks like they’re going to extras. Naylor has never had a defined defensive position because he’s just not that good no matter where you stick him.
  4. At least the Reds are mounting a late comeback against the Indians. There used to be a time 2-3 years ago where the White Sox would consistently challenge late, too.
  5. Grand slam here? Not an easy situation for Ruiz here, but it is what it is.
  6. Collins got crossed up, expecting offspeed pitch, barely caught it.
  7. Not even “Hanigar the Horrible” would help right now...Haniger would be leaving first place for last, haha. With Lewis, Kelenic and Rodriguez coming, the M’s could start to make things interesting, but losing Paxton so early was a huge blow.
  8. Not without Jimenez, 2019 Moncada and 2020 Abreu.
  9. Not sure if I would go to Foster here though. We don’t have Burdi, right? We get an extra guy tmrw.
  10. Then you leave Heuer out to dry or burn another reliever...like Ruiz.
  11. TLR isn’t really going to let Vaughn hit against Barnes, is he?
  12. Check their investment histories, lol...almost as entertaining as the Cowboy Joe West, Paul Lo Duca lawsuit that West just won for $500k.
  13. Very simple to have overhead cams that directly track the pitch its entire path across the plate...then you simply need to paint an electronic zone for top and bottom vertically. Can have two people monitoring simultaneously.
  14. Marwin Gonzalez? There’s the thing about Heuer, it shouldn’t be that easy to take out a high fastball unless you were just sitting on pitch and location.
  15. You’re not going to win against Boston with only 3 hitters in your lineup with over a 700 ops. The Dodgers and Padres struggle to find more than a couple of hitters to insert with less than that same number.
  16. Which is why Hendriks wasn’t a top 5 need...oops, well, let’s see if Yermin can make another set of adjustments now.
  17. Red Sox really would be needing to rebuild if the White Sox had Devers now as their cornerstone. Benintendi fell off the map, Pedroia got old. JD Martinez slowing down as well, at least until this year. Bogaerts has been their most consistent player but lacks range and is never going to be a 30 homer type of guy.
  18. Or Yermin. But Mercedes really had some strong minor league numbers that weren’t Charlotte or walk/OBP inflated. Never has been a .270 or .280 guy, though.
  19. Even Andres Gimenez would be considered a power hitter on the White Sox... By the way, White Sox 20 no hitters, only Dodgers with 23 ahead of them in MLB history. Would have thought the Yankees.
  20. Abreu taking some really wild swings there trying too hard for a homer instead of hitting an oppo single. That’s the problem, hitters putting too much pressure on themselves not trusting the next man up.
  21. With bases loaded or runners on second/third or just third with less than two must be Bottom 5-7.
  22. Jesus, that was close...Hernandez could have had him had he not taken a run into the throw after catching it. Anderson coasted a but, though.
  23. By that definition, Moncada doesn’t fare well, except 2019. Collins will never do that obviously, and possesses nothing of Yoan’s talent, either. His bat speed has been an issue from his time in the minors.
