  1. How would you describe the opposite feeling for centrist candidates? Pragmatic realism? Nobody gets excited to vote for 27-29 year old candidates unless they really possess the ability to shake up the system, not provide more of the status quo. And, if not her, what candidate will excite anyone in Iowa? Corey Booker would rather take money from Big Pharma and Wall Street while convincing you he “feels your pain”...while trying to thread the need,e of occupying a place between Bill Clinton and Obama. It won’t work. So what else do you have that will motivate the Left to get out and vote?
  2. No stealing Wimpy lines!
  3. Don’t make a Nazi salute or you’ll set back the rebuild even further, lol... https://www.milb.com/milb/news/chicago-white-sox-prospect-corey-zangari-launches-three-homers/c-285735548 Dan Coats sighting. Zangari headline story at milb.com for the moment with his 3 homer game.
  4. https://www.cnn.com/2018/07/14/opinions/trump-white-house-drama-emmy-nomination-opinion-zelizer/index.html Say what you will, but Ocasio-Cortez is one of the few Dems with any oxygen right now. Same with Sanders, and Warren to a slightly lesser extent. Other than Joe Biden, what legit centrist/globalist/neoliberal candidate is out there with enough star power to actually counter Trump? You also realize that you’re painting those pushing for progressive policies as the moral equivalents of left wing neo-Nazis...or anti-Rabbits. That’s a sure way to get Trump re-elected and 1-2 more conservative SCOTUS named, by the way.
  5. Delmonico k’ing his way out of the future...his star shone brightly, but only briefly.
  6. Gleyber...btw Yoan Moncada=anti-Javier Baez
  7. Is two ACL’s materially better than two TJ’s? Who are the players to perform at All-Star level in their 20’s after two major knee surgeries?
  8. See Cubs, Kris Bryant. Of course, their fans had a lot more faith in the proven success of Epstein.
  9. Change-up. Moncada, SANCHEZ and Anderson all in the same ops vicinity. The 15 errors is more inexcusable....usually would be double plays, seemingly lead to big innings nearly every time. Also, the White Sox last in Mlb in walks. What else is new?
  10. A Tea Partier from Loras College, should only require 8 hours per day to dispatch...
  11. This just in, Canada has pretty much taken over the US due to their monopoly on oil and gas pipelines entering the country...they can turn them all off simultaneously (or sabotage them), it’s The Purge 5 all over again.
  12. For example, a lot of Cubs fans have been all over their scouting department for Darvish’s season so far...there’s always going to be a certain amount of risk in every acquisition. I guess the one injury that was the most predictable was Burger going down so quickly, but an Achilles’ at that age is extremely rare even for a bigger athlete.
  13. 104 pitches, 105 last game...and out of there
  14. How can Omar Narvaez have the 3rd best OPS in the lineup tonight?
  15. White Sox now just 13 runs behind Balt for second worst RS/RA number in the game. KC still far ahead. Basically, Balt has been much more effective at losing, the anti-Mariners.
  16. Farmer believes he’s (Covey) tipping his pitches...fatigue, as well? Velocity hasn’t been as consistent.
  17. What was most likable about Howard Dean or Bernie Sanders, their platforms or their personalities? Elizabeth Warren, or what she represented?
  18. Don’t forget the “original,” Justin Turner.
  19. Plus you have to account for an aging Adrian Beltre...
  20. https://www.cnn.com/2018/07/11/politics/trump-border-immigration-charts/index.html 3 graphs that explain Trump’s border dilemma/s
  21. Quentin and Eaton? AL acquisitions are hardly better...
  22. https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/mlb/2016/07/30/padres-trade-matt-kemp-braves-hector-oliveras/87830222/ Forgot how they kept playing musical chairs with Hector Olivera and Kemp deals before he eventually ended up in LA again...of course, Olivera originally signed by LA in perhaps the worst Cuban deal ever (Rusney Castillo would be right up there.) But these deals are not netting elite under 25 prospects. White Sox need one of these: Shelby Miller for Swanson, Inciarte, Blair and Speier...or the other terrible DBacks’ move, Touki Toussaint and Arroyo (contract dump of just $9.5 mill) for IF Phil Gosselin.
  23. You can say goodbye to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Our new SCOTUS nominee has deemed it to be unconstitutional. https://www.cnbc.com/amp/2018/07/10/scotus-could-cripple-cfpb-with-brett-kavanaugh-on-the-bench.html
  24. Of course, when a bad contract gets absorbed, it actually turns into a net positive for the Dodgers (Kemp).
