OU Alabama and Tulsa Mississippi were both terrible games to watch the first time. Oklahoma fans would have been so excited to play ND at home. Fairbanks is a great example. There are 100-125 relievers on the market now. Arguably not worth even $11 to a small are the team. But the playoffs the last 2-3 years has only further demonstrated how critical their impact on the postseason. Look at the Mason Miller deal last year. Fairbanks suddenly becomes incredibly valuable on an affordable contract to contenders if he's both healthy and productive. Same exact teams looking at 12-15ish reliable arms drives prices into the strotosphere.

Then those numbers add up to block other moves, or the Moncada/Jimenez/Robert extensions. Talent/character evaluation. Getting only 2/4 years from Grandal.

The going rate would be $140-210 million (at $7 million/fWAR) million and far likelier $160-240 million in this year's free agency. It doesn't serve any purpose unless the White Sox actually sign him...it's more just joking about how the Sox have completely forgotten they're actually in the ENTERTAINMENT business. Signing Wisdom accomplishes less than nothing. Just makes the Sox even more of a laughing stock. And Bruce Levine's less relevant than Phil Rogers posting from Texas now.
