At least Dunn seems to be avoiding the curse of everything falling apart. It would be ironic if he becomes a more valuable bat than Sandoval or Headley going into next season. Viciedo 0 for 16 career against Masterson. Heading for 0/17. This is where not having Eaton and a 3/34 Jordan Danks is killing this offense. Ramirez hitting .170 against Masterson lifetime.

Masterson's agent simply has to show a highlight reel of about 20 of his career starts against the White Sox and the asking price will have been driven well over $100 million.

Running Flowers there was dumb...with Semien's lack of contact this year. Of course, Masterson's been so tough against the White Sox, you can understand the desire to try to generate some offense, SOMEHOW. Although that simply puts even more pressure on Marcus, instead of allowing him to relax. Can't ask anything more from Carroll than what he's giving. Great defense last inning prevented this game from getting away early. Indians with equally bad defense. White Sox also had a play on Bourn that could have been ruled an error...that Flowers didn't field cleanly. 30 errors by the Indians already. Making us look...if not good, at least not as terrible.

Shades of 2013 Chicago White Sox baseball this inning from DeAza and Semien. The wind's pretty fierce, but geez...can everything fall apart this week?

The way the Indians' announcers were calling it, that ball hit by Swisher was 30 rows back. Oops.
