  1. Monasterio Collins Perkins far from sure things...
  2. 5/31 bases loaded playable last year offensively, this year, not so much
  3. Vaughn=unimportant/insignificant contributor
  4. Need Sudden Sam McDowell and Ryne Duren in this one. Country hard ball. Feels like a boxing match...going back and forth with relievers throwing all they've got at the opposition.
  5. Chourio really struggling with his leg now.
  6. Brewers take the early lead...that's something different.
  7. Busch leadoff homer meltdown...just kidding. Hoping for another good deciding game like last night.
  8. Not only that, but Oregon was dominated in the second half...if not for the interception return, would have been a 17 pt game. Luke Fickell might not survive the week at Wisconsin if this type of play keeps up at home against Iowa.
  9. Penn State losing at home to NW? Colorado over Iowa State...wild day already.
  10. Exit Mateer and Dante Moore from the Heisman race. Move up Mendoza and Ty Simpson. Hold Trinidad Chambliss.
  11. https://www.espn.com/mlb/player/batvspitch/_/id/40080/trevor-megill 5/31 vs. Megill 0 hr/1 RBI .728 ops and much more experience across the roster against Koenig
  12. Wilson isn't a guy you should trust in high leverage relief. And the reason nobody else claimed him is that playoff contenders prefer guys with dominant stuff now out of the pen...or at least a unique arm angle, LHP, wipeout slider, etc.
  13. And four times overall to Seattle when Skubal started games this year...

  16. https://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/article/detroit-tigers-2025-offseason-preview-after-second-half-collapse-and-alds-loss-can-the-tigers-compete-with-the-als-elite-next-year-055310267.html Tigers are really well set up for next year if they can add a veteran closer to replace Finnegan. Kevin McGonigle and Max Clark two of the top ranked hitters in the minors and both arriving next year. However, Skubal Flaherty Mize could all be free agents at the end of 2026...
  17. The best are the cinnamon and sugar pretend sticks with a lemonade to finish it off.
  18. https://www.mlb.com/news/colson-montgomery-homers-in-white-sox-win-over-guardians “My first at-bat was my first time using it. I guess I like the bat or the bat likes me,” Montgomery said. “I would like to think that if you just give me a bat, I’ll be fine, but some guys have their special thing with certain bats, and I just feel comfortable with it. “Once I got it, I felt it was pretty natural. When I had to use a normal bat, I felt like there was too much weight at the end. It kind of made me out and around and pull happy, I guess. When I have a torpedo in my hand, I guess I feel tight to the ball and can let the ball track a little bit more and I can whip it to the zone faster." Ten home runs from that point in August over his next 21 games. 14 consecutive without a homer in September and a boatload of Ks. Then three in his last six games. The very definition of streaky. Now he's going to have to even it out over 150+ games playing against more tough lefty starters as well. It will be interesting to see how sustainable that success will be.
  19. Which Sox pitchers are pulling that off??? Offense, sure. It always looks terrible against superior oitching. in the postseason. See 18 inning 1-0 loss to Astros in 2022.
  20. Not Auntie Anne's? Cinnabun would be okay about right now as well.
  21. Varland started G4. You have Gausman Yesavage Bieber...then Berrios/Bassitt.
  22. Guess Woo starts? Jays have their own issues. Bichette's health status and not sure of G4 starter.
  23. Doesn't really matter at this point. They survived. Maybe the Jays will have cooled off waiting around sitting.
