  1. Goodbye Sox catching coach. Had been Twins' radio pre game guest lol.
  2. Stand Up for Weather Day!!! Butera going after Hoy. Wasn't Grifol or Katz.
  3. Eckstein-esque. Next comp will be Chris Taylor...but a LONG ways to go for that. Taylor started his career with much higher expectations, too.
  4. It's all due to Mendick and Pham for now...but hard to count on that holding up over time. Same with Sheets. And pretty amazing how far off both Vaughn and Torkelson are from being even average at that position...which used to be the easiest to fill.
  5. Certainly doesn't feel anywhere near a Top Ten farm system where the depth issues exposed last year are simply repeating again. I guess Pham even at 36 can actually look like a decent offensive player...but having him in CF is just going to lead to a cascading amount of disasters in the outfield. And better overall infield play being sabotaged any time you have Maldonado out there behind the dish.
  6. JR must love it though...always has to stop it to someone. Usually his own team's fans, unfortunately.
  7. Rob Gallas??? No no no. Not even in the 90s.
  8. The Rockies are now occupying an unenviable place in the MLB history books. More specifically, the Rockies have now trailed for at least part of all 29 of their games so far this season, breaking a tie with the 1910 St. Louis Browns for the longest such streak in history, per The Associated Press. Colorado currently holds a 7-22 record. The last time the Rockies were either tied or ahead for an entire game was a Sept. 26, 2023, game against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
  9. White Sox went from a plus defensive outfield to one of the very worst in the league with Benintendi, Pham in CF and Sheets in RF. And Getz was attempting to fix “no FA pitchers want to sign with the White Sox.” Average combined catch probability of roughly 13%.
  10. Watch the White Sox bring in Aaron Hicks…
  11. 1-13 streak against Twins the Sox equivalent of 0-18 against Yankees for Minny. Except those were all playoff games.
  12. 9 in a row...longest in majors and longest streak for Twins in 16 years.
  13. W W W W W W L W W W W W W W Current Twins vs. Sox head to head streak.
  14. Sounds like a speech from Hahn...
  15. Pham is becoming a folk hero to Greg.
  16. Here comes 102-104.
  17. Twins have won 12 of last 13 against Sox lol. AAA teams should do much better than that. At least Norfolk.
  18. At least Grossman has a major league track record. Ortega is pure AAAA filler.
  19. What has Ortega ever done to get this much respect lol...? Thielbar to face Ortega and Lopez.
  20. LoL. Benintendi tormenting the Twins. Not that anyone would consider taking on that contract. Mendick at least playing with some pride.
  21. $$$ JR likes/loves this thread. White Sox like a bloated, has been mutual fund company churning the portfolio while desperately chasing returns at the end of the quarter.
  22. 96-97 touching 98 is no longer all that elite without much movement...and lacking conviction with his off speed stuff. Berroa gets out of it in his first big league appearance.
  23. Hearing how his wrist was the main reason for his lack of pop last year...got quite old. Xander Bogaerts is going through similar issues and it just seems like players even in their late 20s and early 30s can go south in a hurry in this cage of elite velo.
