At least Kopech won't be giving up the gopher ball. Welp, only a double.

There's no guarantee he would have held up health-wise even as a closer, and not everyone has the mentality as well as command/control to make it as a closer. Sure, if he was equivalent of Josh Hader, that would be worth a ton. The odds of another team targeting his continued development as a starter seems like that payoff will be decent enough.

Stewart dominated the White Sox last series...looks like it's continuing. But at least no Duran at the end of that pen.
