Tough loss with the defense and Robertson collapsing after holding a lead for so long. That last WC spot will come down to the wire with four teams fighting and now the DBacks suddenly surging with their own young/exciting/talented team. (Noticed Stone Garrett is playing well recently as well.)

Not these last two years without a winning product on the field. You can argue about SELLING those tickets in 2022 after two straight (disappointing) playoff appearances. But actual butts in the seats is a different matter altogether.

The real potential threat of losing a team after decades of small market success and moxie tends to have that effect on the psyche of a fanbase. Remember when they threatened to contract the Twins in the early 2000s?
