  1. If we bid on Dylan Bundy this offseason, let's try to not let him pitch against the Guardians like ever, lol... Like the Joe Kelly not pitching back to back days provision.
  2. Twins laying a 0-7 egg at home after a lengthy rain delay in Minneapolis is leading to lots of boos...unusual there.
  3. The funniest thing is that Connor McKnight said this replacement pitcher would be out of the game in the first 2-3 innings, lol.
  4. 4-0 Guardians over the Twins in the first. Gonzalez if he figures out how to hit 18-24 homers per season looks a lot like the next Michael Brantley. OFC, White Sox never score like this off Dylan Bundy.
  5. Fine, a dreaded list. Hideki Matsui Kaz Matsui Seiya Suzuki Kenji Johjima Kosuke Fukudome Shogo Akiyama Nori Aoki So Taguchi Akinori Iwamura Granted, the majority of studs have been pitchers. https://www.mlb.com/news/best-japanese-baseball-players-of-all-time-c262514038
  6. One of the most famous authors from Japan shares that same name as well…

  8. Royals final six consecutive games against the Royals dictates cheering for the Twins. Then, of course, the White Sox need to take care of the Twins. Padres might still need to beat the White Sox the final week, whereas the Rays (the other final three games for the Guardians outside KC) might have already locked up their Wild Card spot...in fact, they'd have an incentive to lose, because that would mean facing #3CLE/CHW/MIN instead of #4/5 Toronto OR Seattle.
  9. MLB Playoff Odds | FanGraphs Baseball White Sox now in 2nd place behind Guardians but ahead of the Twins Also, now 22nd or 23 in MLB homers, depending if you go by actual numbers of home runs or pace of homers per game (behind Rays). Guardians are currently dead last.
  10. Minnesota 28 games remaining, Cleveland 27 and White Sox just 25...
  11. The Twins have the Yankees in their heads to much that you almost feel sad for the AL Central. CLE has the look and feel of a team like the 2012 White Sox down the stretch drive. Plus those two starters down.
  12. And Marcus Semien's prolonged slump to begin this season is now a relic. Consider this: Semien's first 42 games: 181/.236/.241, 0 HR, 10 RBI, 14 runs scored, 36 wRC+ Semien's next 91 games: .270/.331/.495, 21 HR, 57 RBI, 67 runs scored, 134 wRC+
  13. Just picked up Michael Jordan's second card 1986 Fleer #8/11 for $1200. Sticker cards.
  14. Like a good Gleyber, Torres is there/here. Yankees' crew just eviscerating Baldelli for pulling rookie pitcher simply because he had to face the line-up the third time through. Eye test. Not knee jerk. Kid was really pitching excellently, got yanked and now they're in danger of losing yet another game to the Yankees.
  15. Most exciting player in MLB today? Aaron Judge Mookie Betts Byron Buxton Bryce Harper Manny Machado Jazz Chisholm Rafael Devers Juan Soto Max Scherzer Jacob deGrom Trea Turner Shohei Ohtani Fernando Acuna, Jr. Luis Robert Julio Rodriguez Wander Franco O'Neil Cruz
  16. Absolutely not going to jinx Oneil Cruz and start him on his own thread. Kelenic's already been thoroughly ruined.
  17. Going for around $65000 each if they graded out at PSA 9 (mint) there would be a pretty dramatic falloff at 7.5 and below i'll just pretend my Nolan Ryan rookie sold in the late early/early 90's wasn't mint...that would have been in the $75-90K range today, oops
  18. the one I bought was $800 but much closer to good/very good grade than excellent also, just bid in an auction for 1954 Topps Hank Aaron 7.5 grade, near mint, gave up at $27000, winning bid was a bit over $28000 also bought an autographed Ohtani and Ichiro cards from back in Japan, like the Orix Blue Jay, that one about $500
