I've read most of Palahniuk. He's hit and miss. Damned was solid but nowhere near the level of Fight Club, Choke, and Survivor.

The Book of Basketball was Simmons at his best. Hilarious and Insightful the whole way through. I loved it.

I'm hoping for ISU vs. UIUC at Redbird arena in the NIT.

I always wonder what the atmosphere is like at the "power conference" tournaments. Is it really a big deal? I go to the MVC tournament every year and that is pretty much every teams real championship right there. I don't get the feeling that the Big Ten tourney is the same way when teams like OSU and MSU have National title hopes. Am I wrong?

I haven't although I suppose I would if the opportunity presented itself.
