Having Chick Fil A in my dorm as part of my meal plan at ISU was amazing. Had it nearly every day for lunch.

QUOTE (bigruss22 @ Mar 5, 2012 -> 10:52 PM) Shower pissing is fine in my book, as long as you don't purposefully piss on yourself. I just aim for the drain. I don't want to be friends with someone that is grossed out by pissing in the shower.

Holy hell that was an exciting time down in St Louis. I have been to the last 5 MVC tourney's only to see the Birds lose in the championship 3 times but am very proud of the Redbirds this weekend. No Seniors on this team so hopefully they can be more consistent next season. I certainly have high hopes.

QUOTE (chw42 @ Feb 29, 2012 -> 11:01 PM) I didn't watch their summer league games, but I did actually watch the Bulls when they were god awful, quite frequently too. The thought of them having a slight chance to win was enough for me to watch. But then again, I was like 10 years old back then and I had nothing better to do. I was definitely the 10-15 year old watching summer league games when the Bulls were terrible.

I have a Beckham jersey you can have.

I'm in although I haven't watched a single game that didn't involve an MVC team.

QUOTE (Brian @ Feb 27, 2012 -> 06:54 AM) How many classes does Indiana ball have? Not a fan of 4 classes although 4A could be fun this year. I hate the 4 classes. I usually go to Peoria for the finals and it has sucked since it went to 4.

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Feb 26, 2012 -> 07:11 PM) Watching Derrick and Luol in these games is awkward. They are the anti-All-Star Game type players. They don't want to be flashy at all. D-Rose just doesn't give a s*** because it doesn't count. And yes, I love that. Especially with Lebron and Wade out there. If Derrick was in the West I have a feeling him and Kobe would want to destroy those two.

QUOTE (Rex Hudler @ Feb 26, 2012 -> 03:31 PM) It was sad in terms of how they played, but I really didn't expect them to win both @ Iowa and @ Minnesota. IU's margin for error is still pretty small and road wins are still tough to get. With 7 games left I was looking for a 5-2 finish. Right now we're 4-1 with two tough home games left. I'd love to hold serve in these last two. Either way, I think we're looking at a quarterfinal game in Indy against Wisky. I'd love to get to the semis in Indy and see how much of a home court environment it could become. IU seems to be a near lock for a four seed in the tournament, barring losing their next three or winning their next four. March is much more fun when the Hoosiers are involved! If only we can Evansville firing on all cylinders next year. They have most of their team back including Colt Ryan so I think they have to be better. Ryan Sawville has impressed in the 2nd half as well and should only get better as an inside presence. Creighton will of course be really good again. I like CU, UE, ISU(red), and UNI next year a lot. -
QUOTE (The Only Swede @ Feb 26, 2012 -> 12:13 AM) That, and they lost both NFL and NHL to another channel and those are the two sports most people watch. Nobody watches the NHL. It's by far the 4th or 5th most popular depending on how you view nascar/

I really need a bookcase but don't have any room in my apartment. I have two big tubs of books at my parents house that have about 200 total books in them

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Feb 24, 2012 -> 08:26 AM) Oof, that was a beastly dump. Feeling good now, though! Well, happy birthday to you then.

Working out a lot helped me to be honest. That and drinking.

Nothing in Aurora yet. Supposed to start driving to my parents house in Missouri at 4 a.m. Hopefully it's not too bad at that time.

QUOTE (Rex Hudler @ Feb 22, 2012 -> 08:50 PM) Maybe I'm old, set in my ways, stupid or just not focusing due to a headache tonight, but that seemed like a complete waste of time and cybe space. I agree. I read the whole thing and agreed with pretty much none of it. -
QUOTE (pittshoganerkoff @ Feb 22, 2012 -> 06:13 AM) I haven't read that one, but I have read most of his other books. His Kenzie/Gennaro books are top notch, and of course Shutter Island and Mystic River are great. I would recommend all of them. I've read a bit of his work. Good stuff.

Just started "The Given Day" by Dennis Lehane on a friends recommendation.

QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Feb 20, 2012 -> 09:27 PM) Haha everything you said here pertains to me as well. When I was in Carbondale I had my roomate tie it for me and back here I've had my dad do it, which was fine when I didn't have to wear one often, now I have to learn but as you said I just can't get it right. It's very sad. I'm sure if I had to wear one every day I'd just have to accept my not quite right ties.
-
QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Feb 20, 2012 -> 09:13 PM) It is legitimately pathetic how much trouble I have trying to tie a tie. I have to wear one everyday to work now and struggle monster. I've watched every video on youtube on how to tie a tie and have put in hours of practice and really just can't seem to get it just right. It's pretty sad that I go over to my parents house before job interviews and weddings to have my dad tie it for me. One of these days it will click I'm sure.

QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Feb 20, 2012 -> 06:58 PM) The 3 most difficult things in life: 1. Sleeping 2. Putting a Taco Bell lid on the cup 3. Tying a tie I agree with all of this and must add that being a Saluki fan has to be top 5.

QUOTE (Boogua @ Feb 17, 2012 -> 01:19 PM) Also, Jim Brown was was 6-2 232. To put it in perspective, their (the browns) HOF guard was 6-3 248 and their HOF DT was 6-2 248. I'm not saying Brown would be garbage, but it's obvious that he was just physically superior to pretty much everyone. Lebron is physically superior to everyone today. I don't get what this proves.

QUOTE (Brian @ Feb 16, 2012 -> 04:42 AM) Ditto. I got home around 9:30 from work and figured I would just watch it today. While I was home yesterday afternoon, I couldn't stop watching Friend Zone on MTV. It was so bad but I loved watching these people profess their love for their opposite sex best friends and getting shot down. I went through that when I was young and want them to feel the pain I experienced. Pretty sure that's a rite of passage for young men. I feel bad for dudes that never get past that.

So the Celtics are about even with the Bulls minus Derrick and Rip. Things aren't looking up for them.
