QUOTE (Real @ Nov 17, 2010 -> 10:40 PM) Bulls cant hold the Spurs jock, the difference in talent is hilarious Bulls lose this game by at least 18 Really? The fact that the Bulls played last night and the jump shots started coming up short while the Spurs had three days off doesn't factor into this at all?

I just turned it off. The Spurs weren't missing anything there.

QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Nov 17, 2010 -> 10:23 PM) Completely disagree about U of I, that team is seriously talented and they got a great chance to make a deep run this year. And even with out Hummel, Purdue was able to make it to the s16 last season(Kramer is a big loss though) so lets not count them out just yet and you forgot to mention Wisconsin who as usual seems to be completely overlooked by everyone. And obviously OSU and MSU are legit National Title contenders. The big 10 is not overrated this season. The Valley sucks this season. WSU can play with the majority of the teams in the country but after that you have Missouri State who is solid but not spectacular and then you have pretty much garbage and the bottom half of the league is about as bad as I can ever remember it. It's awful. I'll admit I'm wrong but I've seen enough U of I teams under Weber underperform to never take them too seriously. Yes, the MVC is just really bad this year. Just hoping my birds stay out of the thursday games in st. louis because it won't be as much fun if they don't make it to friday. -

QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Nov 17, 2010 -> 10:01 PM) The top of the big 10 is ridiculously good this year. I like MSU and OSU. Don't see Purdue or UIUC living up to the hype. -

QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Nov 17, 2010 -> 09:48 PM) Little brother syndrome. This has nothing to do with it. It's about fans of Big Ten teams thinking they are superior when they are on about the same level if not lower than the Big 12. -

Nope, I feel like every year people believe the Big Ten is the best conference when year in and year out the ACC and Big East are always stronger top to bottom. MSU is a top notch program but every other program in the Big Ten is very inconsistent. It's probably a product of living in the midwest around Big Ten fans. -
Didn't see this already Steve?

QUOTE (greg775 @ Nov 16, 2010 -> 11:37 PM) Time to sign Thome for old time's sake. And it might piss off Twins' fans. It's time he returns to our side. One mill a year. Tons of incentives. Jimmy baby. I can even handle Jones (ugg) alternating with him at DH. I still want Thome no where near this team. Don't care what he did last year.

QUOTE (MHizzle85 @ Nov 16, 2010 -> 10:30 PM) CJ Watson has been as bad, if not worse IMO. You are right about this. Except he didn't turn it on at the end of the game like Brewer. One of them really has to go. I would kill to have Hinrich back.

QUOTE (MHizzle85 @ Nov 16, 2010 -> 10:41 PM) Stories like these remind me of the time me & kjshoe04 got pulled over coming home from a Sox game & the cop flashed the light in my face the entire time. Or the time that the cops pulled me over, gave me the full pat down & asked if I had any weapons, explosives included. While asking the girl inside the car if she was okay & if she was there against her will... It was her car btw. It's because you are a tall man.

QUOTE (JorgeFabregas @ Nov 16, 2010 -> 10:13 PM) Inside of Ronnie Brewer it's too dark to see. Except for that shining glow of suck deep inside.

QUOTE (Real @ Nov 16, 2010 -> 09:53 PM) Ronnie Brewer makes me want to punch a f***ing wall This. Outside of Brewer I think the bulls have looked fantastic so far this year.

I'm not in if by young you mean the Rays model. I really don't want ten years of bad to be good.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Nov 16, 2010 -> 07:21 PM) We have to keep this place somewhat free of repetitive clutter. Sorry that you feel that a couple seconds of scanning the threads to see if it has already been posted is too much of your valuable time. I've spent the last ten minutes looking for this and haven't found it anywhere else.

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Nov 15, 2010 -> 03:34 PM) Deron Williams has straight pissed on all those that said he'd never cut it as an elite PG. They thought he was too thick? lol. As a black man, thick is never a bad thing. I don't think there was that many people that doubted him. He's good. That being said, I still hate him with a passion.

QUOTE (ZoomSlowik @ Nov 12, 2010 -> 07:48 PM) It's not necessarily true for a number of the low end at large teams, especially if they're in a stronger conference and/or have a good OOC schedule (which NU doesn't). For instance, Georgia Tech made it with a 7-9 ACC record last year and so did Maryland the year before that. For a Big Ten example, Michigan and Minnesota both made the field in 08/09 at 9-9 (interestingly, Penn State didn't at 10-8). Yeah I know it happens. I just dislike teams that can't even finish .500 in their own conferences getting into the tournament. I'd like to see a rule where you have to be at least .500 in your own conference. Nobody wants to see a crummy big ten team in the tournament. -

QUOTE (ZoomSlowik @ Nov 11, 2010 -> 03:30 PM) I said Minnesota's OOC schedule is a bit better on paper, but I still doubt it makes a major difference if NU is better head to head or in conference play in general. Those mid-major games aren't going to be resume-makers and St. Joe's was 11-20 last year and lost their top-2 scorers. In a way, I agree I guess. They're going to have to be over .500 in conference with that OOC schedule. I don't see them having to be QUITE that good though. If they beat the teams they're supposed to beat, split with Minnesota and won three against the top-5 in conference, that'd put them at 12-6 with likely three wins against the top-25 and another top-50 against Minnesota. That strikes me as more of a 6/7 seed type resume than bubble team. Their problem is that they don't really have a lot of games against 50-100 type teams, it's either very good ones or very bad ones. I'd like to think that should be a requirement for any team making the tournament, other than conference tourney winners of course. -

QUOTE (bigruss22 @ Nov 10, 2010 -> 05:06 PM) Ozzie won't use his advice or the Kotsay excuse all that often? You do realize that Kotsay was not resigned. It was a joke due to him being way overused.
-
He seems like a nice guy. Hope this works out. I'm sure Ozzie won't use him all that often.

I really don't care who cuts my hair. I don't get it buzzed but if it looks bad it tends to only look bad for a week or so. Then it grows a bit and is usually ok.
