QUOTE (RockRaines @ Nov 23, 2010 -> 05:21 PM) DO you like gambling? You could pass the time watching as much college bball as you can in preparation for the tourney. I did that a few years back and it didnt pay off, but it got me through the winter. Thats how I've gotten through some College Basketball before. Until I start betting after I drink.

QUOTE (dasox24 @ Nov 23, 2010 -> 01:52 PM) Awesome. So there's a good chance no NFL or NBA next year... Thank God I like college sports more than Pro, but still, it's going to suck if there really is a lockout. I don't like college sports or hockey. Could be a long winter.

QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Nov 18, 2010 -> 03:46 PM) No, you just distort the truth to feed your clear bias towards the school. How in any way is arguing against the Big Ten against other Major conferences feeding a bias towards a school in the Missouri Valley conference? I just said that I constantly hear from friends and others that the Big Ten is going to be the best conference when it has never shook out that way. It has nothing to do with the MVC vs. Big Ten. -

In the past 9 years, Wisconsin has been in the top 25 to start the season 6 times. -

The Big Ten and Big 12 both only have one champion in the past 20 years. -

Not to mention the ACC has 5 champions in the last 10 years to the Big East's 2. -

QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ Nov 18, 2010 -> 02:40 PM) How do you figure? Since 2001 (last 10 years) the ACC has 9 final four and the Big East has 8. I havent looked at the 1 seeds but just using memory I'd have to imagine it's awfully close, especially with the 3 out 4 the Big East pulled a couple years ago. And Badger, it's not as if I think Wisconsin is overrated, I just don't think they are underrated. They are a good program with an excellent coach and they are pretty consistent. But, they have had some pretty bad flameouts in the Tourney and i'll admit some bias, I just absolutely hate the style of ball they (and most of the Big 10) play. It works, yes, but they just never scare me, no matter how good they supposedly are in a year or what they're ranked etc... Yes, the Big East has been close in Final Four teams and I haven't looked at number one seeds myself but the Big East is such a large league and usually gets more teams in the tournament than any other conference that I have to give it to the ACC. -
I'm not a fan of moving Quentin. I really think he should just become our DH. He obviously can't field and his potential is so high that if he puts it together we could really come out looking bad if a deal were made.

I also like the new Girl Talk more than his previous outings. I feel the samples are given just a little more time that really makes it feel less cluttered.

I like Cudi's first better than his second. That being said, I really enjoy his second album. Sqwert is right that they are both albums that should be listened to all the way through and just has a certain mood too.

I honestly feel that the neighborhood is what brings in the fans and not the stadium itself. I don't think they would be hurt at all if they put up a newer modernized stadium in the same place. However, I doubt they get a new stadium in there.

I went and looked at Final Four appearances over the last ten years and the big ten finishes third among conferences. I'll admit they have done better than I thought but the ACC has by far been the best conference. Every year I do hear people claiming it is the year the Big 10 will win the ACC/Big 10 challenge and they have only won it once. It is not you guys either, usually on here everyone is very knowledgeable outside of a few Illinois fans that just feel Kev and I are out to bring them down for whatever reason. I certainly don't cheer for Illinois and granted I enjoy seeing them lose, but I really don't care what they do. I'm much more concerned with MVC teams. -
