Where were you 25 years ago today?
I wasn't born for 9 more years, but my mom and dad got married the year before that and had my sister in December of '79.

I just got it to work for me in Quicktime.

Favorite EA Sports Video Game
I'm not that big of a hockey fan, but I really like NHL. I think it's a really cool game, and although I've never bought it, I rent it like every year when it comes out.

NCAA Football 2005
Have you tried to create a player yet? If so, is it better, the same, or worse than last year's "create a player"? I loved how you could create players last year, so I hope that it's at least just as good; if it worse, that will suck. Does you know how much a dial-up internet connection will affect playing the game online? I mean, will it take a really long time to connect(if so, how long?) and/or will the gameplay be slow, too. Because if that's the case, I won't be able to play online unless my parents agree to get high speed internet

Favorite EA Sports Video Game
NCAA Football is my favorite (i can't wait to get 2005), followed by this year's MVP Baseball.

Randy Johnson might be available
me too...

Randy Johnson might be available
I heard that too. He said that the Yankees, Angels, and maybe the White Sox were interested in Johnson, but he doesn't think the Yankees nor Red Sox will get him b/c they don't have the prospects and/or major league-ready players to give the D'Backs to get him.

Does anyone know whether or not "picture 43" works yet?

Baseball Movies
What a loser; I mean, even I can throw at least 110 MPH by the 9th inning, and I don't even play baseball anymore.

Home Run Derby
yeah, i like that. If I ever buy a horse, that just might be his/her name. Oh yeah, now back to the thread topic: I hope that Blalock wins b/c like I said in the other HR Derby thread, he's the only one of those guys that's on my team in my dynasty for MVP Baseball

Speaking of road trips.....
I love their new $5 deal for a pre-made pizza; it's great for a guy like me that loves pizza b/c i can get a lot of it for just 5 bucks. There's a Little Caesars now right next to where I work, so I'll be goin there a lot for my lunch break

PTI today....
I haven't watched that show in a while. I know he's doing Around the Horn now, but is Tony Reali still statboy?

In addition to Nomar to the Cubs...
MurcieOne, where have you been man!? It seems like you haven't been on in a while, or maybe I'm just stupid and don't realize that you're here, and you are. I have no idea... I think that Garland stat tracker needs to be updated just a little, btw

7/12 Games
I think that they need to start having the AAA All-Star game in Memphis more. They have, by far, the best stadium in all of minor league baseball, and atmosphere at the games is incredible for a minor league game.

7/12 Games
It's nice to see Brice do well b/c he's really been struggling in W-S.

Bullard
I've been really impressed w/ Bull too, considering he pitches whenever his team needs him, whether it's in relief or as a spot-start, and gets the job done. I hope he (and Baj) gets called up to Charlotte soon, and like you said Heads, there's no reason a guy like Kohlmeier (and a few others) should taking spots away from guys that actually might have a future with us.

Am I the Only one?
Actually, the coach kicked him off the team along w/ his brother b/c he didn't want to have to deal with their mother, who was constantly complaining about her son's(not gio, his bro) playing time; after one of the altercations w/ her, it became too much of a distraction for his team. None of this was really Gio's fault. It was pretty much his mom's fault. I even read somewhere that he was really angry w/ his mom b/c of her antics, which lead to his dismisal.

Cubs close to getting Nomar
Well, I guess that means they're not getting Nomar b/c Boston wants pitching.

MLB most overpaid
Chan Ho Park would be #1 on my list, followed by Darren Dreifort and Mike Hampton tied as #2.

NCAA Football 2005
What level were you playing that on? Heisman(well, i think that's the toughest level anyway)?

Home Run Derby
I'm gonna root for Blalock b/c he's the only one of those guys on my team in my dynasty in MVP Baseball.
