I didn't mean he should pitch in winter ball. I meant I hope he pitches next year the way he pitched in winter ball this year. He was unstoppable in winter ball this past year.

Whoa LDF! lacrosse is a freakin cool sport, as is baseball. Anyway, I've never heard a person say they didn't like lacrosse after they played it.

I sure hope your right on Sanders and Munoz. That would be especially be great if Munoz pitches like he did last year and in winter ball again.

All I have to say is that I hope Frank is a lifelong White Sox player. I would hate to see him leave and play for another team for a couple of years. I want to see Frank get his 500th homerun in a White Sox uniform.

I don't own a Sox jersey, though I do have a hat, t-shirt,etc. Anyway, if I did have a jersey, I'd probably get a Billy Koch jersey....................ok, seriously, I'd probably get a Maggs or Crede one.

I don't want Benson at all. I kinda have to agree w/ Jason here. If we are going to add salary towards getting a pitcher, then I'd much rather have Ponson.

I'm really glad Frank got his 400th HR. What's even more special is that he hit all 400 in one uniform. Here's the question: Do ya'll think that he'll get to 500?

Wing gave up 1 ER in 6 innings and Honel gave up 3 runs in 6 innings. I'm not sure how many of Honel's runs that he gave up were earned. And, yes, W-S won both games yesterday. By the way, sorry but I don't know the full line for Honel and Wing, I just know how many runs they gave up and how many innings they pitched.

I hope Sweeney is OK. If he has to sit out a long time b/c of this injury then i'm gonna be pissed. I'm sick of our good players in the Rookie leagues getting hurt. i.e. Anderson, Schnurstein, Sweeney, and Haigwood(injury happened before season). I just want to see our guys play and not have to sit out because of injuries.

If we were to trade Colon to SF, I would be extremely happy if we got Williams, Foppert, and Matt Cain. Williams is a total stud(and still 21 years old). Foppert has had some problems this year, but has show flashes of greatness, and in my opinion he'll be a total stud in a year or 2. Cain was in A ball this year, so he'd most likely be with Honel and Wing as they all move through the minors. This would be an incredible 3-some to have, plus they would all probably be friends when they got to the big leagues so that would be awesome to have in the clubhouse. Even though Cain got hurt this year, the Giants think he could possibly still return to pitch by the end of the year, so that's good news. And, before he got hurt he could throw high 90's that reaches 100, so if he returns to that form, in my opinion, he will be a very solid Major League pitcher.

Yea, I really hope we can pick up another reliever. But, who could we trade for? one of the Dodgers relievers?, Escobar from Toronto?(we'd move him back to the pen), Scott Williamson from the Reds?, NYM's David Weathers?, etc. Any more suggestions for relievers would be appreciated.

I'm really starting to get excited about our team! I didn't think we'd have much of a chance when we faced Halladay, but we probably gave him his worst outing since April or May. On paper our offense looks unstoppable, but lets hope we keep hitting well(and not hit like right before All-Star break) and go from looking good on paper to looking good in games. Plus if our hitting picks up, we might actually be able to do something in the playoffs if we keep pitching the way we have been.
