i would be more concerned about how the team performs for the manager then about what he is saying to a good friend who just happens to be employed by our rivals...do the teams backman manages play above expectations , to expectations, or below them???....if it's the first , then we made a mistake in letting him go

who is the other lefty in houston to go with wagner???...if he is solid then they would give us competiotn but youre probably right about that..marte and wunsch are awesome for the south side... good point on danny wright too...its funny because i saw eric gagne pitch one time before he was moved to the closer role..ya know , when he stunk , and i remember watching wright one day and someone brought up gagne and it click that wright and gagne are very similiar...maybe moving danny to the bullpen could be huge for us.. of course that means that KW will have to go out and get another starting pitcher...good luck..more likely scenario is DW toils around for the next few years and another teams gets him for nothing , move him to the pen and bingo..he's closing the all star game

yeah i know..thats my point...its always a question mark with the sox...at pretty much every position...and the few years that everything is answered in the positive we win the division...then we fans get all pysch'd about the next year and of course having all the questions answered in the positive for two years in a row is about as likely as me winning the lottery so the next season is a huge disappointment..then we flounder around for like 5-8 years before everything is answered in the positive again and the cycle is complete... when you have a cheap owner thats all talk thats about the best you can hope...

a big reason those guys were so good last year was flash...he was a stud in the pen last year...set close...sometimes up to 3 innings of long relief...he did it all...w/o him marte will definately get used more which means his numbers probably will suffer a little...and wunsch we know can only go a batter or 2.. the key will be pollitte and mr zero...both are really complete unknowns..one because he is a 35 year old rookie and the other beause he has had injuries and we dont know what he has left...all kinds of question marks...typical sox team

there are alot of conservative republicans that do not like bush..i read somewhere where i believe it was michael reagan who was calling for bush to resign....conservatives really feel like bush has let them down...that's why i keep telling you guys that if the dems were to give lieberman the nomination he could beat bush...alot of conservatives would vote for him...he could take some states that dems normally have no chance in...

this guy is a tool unfortantely even broken clocks are right twice a day and it looks like this is one of those times... eventhough he is blinded by hatred for reinsdorf he is right..we could be looking at the worst possible scenario this summer...sox losing 90 while the cubs go to the playoffs again.. btw..he didnt give the cubs a total pass..he scolded them for farting around with maddux.. of course what someelse said is true too...if by some miracle the sox start out hot and the cubs falter...he'll be screaming what fools the cubs were for spending all that money on has beens and use the sox and their 55 million dollar payroll as a comparision...

these are both high school age kids..he just turned 18 and she was just short of her 15th birthday...i said it was stupid on his part but still he shouldnt have his life ruined..he isnt a 30 year old man hiding behind the bushes in a park luring little children with candy...they were both in high school..imo i dont believe the law is being fair here... thats a problem we face with any law..there are always extreme cases that people use to get rid of whjat otherwise is a good thing..registering sex offenders is a good thing...this doesnt fit that profile imo come to think of it...i was 21 and dating a 17 year old back in the day (where i was that was legal though)...its normal for the guy to be a little older...so at 18 a guy really doesnt have too many options... btw..isnt georgia one of the few states left that lets 14 year olds marry???...kind of a conflicting message

the BBC???..that figures this whole issue is so out of hand..one thing i do know...israel is a speck on the arab map...yet it is the central focus of the entire world...its like a drama queen that has to be the center of attention and anyone who has the misfortune of coming in contact with her has to pay the price of being in the center of her world...its just crazy to keep fighting over this little speck of land like this..its gone on for so long now that i dont think people on either side really know what the hell they are fighting anymore...generations are being raised to hate each other...i sure dont have the answers here (who does??) but there has to be a way where both sides can exist atleast somewhat peacefully..its gonna have to happen that way because both sides call the land home and at different points in history both sides did have claim to it..both sides fail to recognize that the other side has no where else to call home should they be forced to leave...so both sides will fight to the death...what's that oing to accomplish??? ive always supported israel and believe it is right to support them now..but there has to be a better effort to form some kind of a peace overthere...on both sides

no i dont think he should be in jail for 10 years...he shouldnt have to register as a sex offender either...that wasnt the intent of that law...that's why i said its sad and i'd change the law...but the kid isnt completely innocent either...he knew she was 15..it was dumb on his part , especially with all he had to lose , to have sex with her...but it looks like the punishment doesnt fit the crime here... i cant say for sure what should happen here because im not privy to all the details..but if i was his lawyer id definately look into the race angle..how many white 18 year olds are being prosecuted (or have been)in georgia for sex with 15 year olds???...if they arnt any you might have a good civil rights case here

i've heard about this case...sad that law should be changed to have at least a 4 year difference in age..that way no one 2 days short of being 16 could claim statutory rape..but if an 18 year old is porking my 15 year old daughter...im gonna be pissed off about it...so there are two sides to this..we seem to be focusing in on only one... what's sad is this kid had a great future..and he let a little instant gratification destroy it...when you're in a position he was you have to be more careful..you really need good people around you to help you keep focused on what's important...
