  1. Sox hitters are so 1 dimensional when they swing at breaking balls that they recognize. they almost always try to just load up and crush it instead of trying to put bat on ball for an easy base hit I'd say this is why Robert is so easy to strike out right now but I dont think he recognizes the slider right now AT ALL
  2. will be funny if they end up losing this game to Cy Young and that gets Hahn fired lol, this kid is filthy
  3. Said it's pain in glutes.
  4. @ptatc Herniated disc, care to share your wisdom here for a prognosis? This seems common for 3B...
  5. Mods should update thread title to reflect this injury, js.
  6. yeah. if this is what's wrong with him, Hahn should be fired immediately for that extension. can't really blame Yoan at all for being soft if he's got a serious injury.
  7. This is who fans wanted doing the post game during the Rongey era.
  8. Brooks Boyer to hand out designated fans tickets to all the interns.
  9. Anderson, Jimenez, Robert, and Moncada, the centerpieces of the rebuild in the daily lineup, have all played in the same game together just 34 times over the White Sox's last 347 games, since the start of the 2021 season.
  10. he's gone, I would be shocked if he survived til the end of the season. cross your fingers that he plays out of his mind until july
  11. same. not a fan of Benetti+Stone Hawk had his issues and there were many, but I enjoyed his passion a lot. It felt like we had a 2nd coach on the broadcast that would argue with the umps when they'd blow a call
  12. I don't know if there are any Sox teams in the last 7-8 years that could overcome a start this bad tbh, 7-18 sheesh.
  13. It quite possibly could be that the biggest whiff by Hahn and co. on putting together a big league contender this year was to assume that you can just hire a new manager every couple years and all your players will just automatically play well with each other and all lead by example and be a carbon copy of their baseball cards I never realized how important it was to have a guy in the clubhouse who every single player respected and played hard for, until this losing streak
  14. I don't know if I'm ready to say the clubhouse is "lost" or "broken" It looks like it's lacking leadership and guys are frustrated and acting out of desperation right now Abreu was the best we had to be a team leader, I know that much
  15. Lance Lynn said in very specific words that the team leader has to play every day to get the respect of everyone in the clubhouse We let that guy walk. Now we have a daycare with a 20yo babysitter.
  16. he absolutely does not want to coach this team and that's the smart choice, as a fan I would love that s%*# though
  17. not gonna happen
  18. Are you using a mobile device like a phone or tablet? Or a desktop computer/Laptop?
  19. was that danks rookie year, yeah that was brutal. after 2006 which was a . massive gut punch, the Sox have literally never been that good since IMHO
  20. Why so it will get worse? ? He needs another organization to fix him.
  21. Have you ever seen a Sox team perform this badly? (To start a season, or in general) I've never seen anything like this. Started rooting for the Sox when I was 14 (1994-95), and regularly scoreboard watching in 2001.
  22. yes, he said it
