Sox hitters are so 1 dimensional when they swing at breaking balls that they recognize. they almost always try to just load up and crush it instead of trying to put bat on ball for an easy base hit I'd say this is why Robert is so easy to strike out right now but I dont think he recognizes the slider right now AT ALL

It quite possibly could be that the biggest whiff by Hahn and co. on putting together a big league contender this year was to assume that you can just hire a new manager every couple years and all your players will just automatically play well with each other and all lead by example and be a carbon copy of their baseball cards I never realized how important it was to have a guy in the clubhouse who every single player respected and played hard for, until this losing streak

Have you ever seen a Sox team perform this badly? (To start a season, or in general) I've never seen anything like this. Started rooting for the Sox when I was 14 (1994-95), and regularly scoreboard watching in 2001.
