  1. 20 degrees, sunny, and no wind does not help out the Bears this weekend
  2. man that mason ryan guy is like a batista clone
  3. QUOTE (Brian @ Jan 11, 2011 -> 04:54 AM) HBK was introduced as first member of Hall of Fame. Too soon. Should of hyped it for like Mania 30 or something. too soon? hes a hall of famer day 1, I dont have a problem with it
  4. QUOTE (flippedoutpunk @ Jan 11, 2011 -> 03:04 AM) we have one, duh, the chicago "agree with me or die" soxtalkers haha, perfect
  5. QUOTE (flippedoutpunk @ Jan 11, 2011 -> 01:31 AM) Are you joining my hardcore kinect volleyball league or what?! yes, all we need is a team name
  6. I also recently got the kinect and it would seem to be aimed more for family/kids.. although it is pretty cool.. 6 ft seems about right for where you need to be from the sensor, maybe slightly further..

QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Jan 9, 2011 -> 12:38 PM) Cage is only good when he plays a neurotic character, which is probably what he is in real life. Face Off
  8. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Jan 7, 2011 -> 03:03 AM) Are you talking about Brees? Because you would have had to have brought Sean Payton with him too. Yes Brees, and having Sean Payton wouldn't have anything to do with it.. having a franchise QB is pretty much to main thing you need to be successful in this league.. aside from the fact there would have been better success and Saban more than likely wouldn't have left..
  9. QUOTE (nitetrain8601 @ Jan 6, 2011 -> 08:23 PM) Pete Carroll Honestly, I think Saban would've if he gave it more time. He was impatient though. Can't really think of anyone else. Usually successful ones are good in the NFL first, then go to college. Saban was a good coach, where he failed was the GM part of it.. he couldn't handle all of it and ran when he had the chance.. but I think he would have been good had he stayed in the NFL.. I mean s***, we were one bad medical report away from transforming the entire way the franchise is.. wed be where New Orleans is had it not been for that
  10. I don't know how to dance but if we land Harbaugh I am going to do the dougie
  11. QUOTE (The Critic @ Jan 5, 2011 -> 12:00 PM) Miz has been great as champ, and I hope Vince sees that and lets him hang onto it for a while. I really don't need an Orton reign any time soon, and Orton doesn't need the title to get over. However, I could do without seeing Alex Riley on my TV ever, but I understand why he's there. Yeah I am really enjoying the Miz right now
  12. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jan 5, 2011 -> 01:04 PM) I honestly think they gave up too soon on RichRod. He had a ridiculously young defense and an offense just starting to get the system. I agree.. He was bringing in an entirely new system with entirely new players, and they were showing the improvment.. now they are most likely going to bring in someone who needs to wipe out the current roster/system and in three years they will be in the same situation again..
  13. QUOTE (DBAHO @ Jan 4, 2011 -> 01:08 PM) Mocking the Draft has Patrick Peterson going at #2 to Denver to replace Champ Bailey as the shutdown CB. Da'Quan Bowers is at #4, said to be the best pass rusher in the draft (wonder if the Bills will pass at #3 though considering the problems Maybin has had). As for the Cowboys at #9, we need to take the best defensive player on the board, either a defensive lineman or one of the CB's (which the draft seems to have a few good ones early on). http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/2011/1/3/19102...aft-andrew-luck Jesus, if Miami takes a RB at 15 I am going to be pissed.. an undrafted free agent just rushed for 1600 yards, unless you are getting an Adrian Peterson its not worth it at all to take a RB high in the draft..
  14. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Jan 3, 2011 -> 02:06 PM) Has anyone else run into guys who are like 5th or 6th prestige, but are pretty bad at the game? I'm talking below-even W/L and K/D ratios, but they have like 10 days of playtime. I don't get how you play the game that much but still suck at it. In about a week I've almost worked my way through 1st prestige, and my K/D has been consistently over 1 for a while now. Closer to 1.4 or so over the last two weeks. that's what having the week off of work will do for you, I guess. Today me and my cousin were playing CTF and there was a 5th prestiger with a split-screen player and his K/D was .56.. they both went 1-14 I see plenty of people on black ops that are higher prestiged with pretty bad K/Ds.. if you put in the time you can rank up without having to be very good at the game.. I just hit 7th prestige the other day at a little over 7 days of play time, but I also have a 2.0 K/D so I get a fair amount of XP per game.. going after the objectives and knocking out challenges is an easy way to rank up fast without having to have a real high K/D
  15. QUOTE (chw42 @ Jan 2, 2011 -> 11:42 AM) I loved it when I'm in a map with noobs when the game just released. Easy kills. Unless they're on your team. haha the other day we got into a game against a full team of noobs and we were all going like 50-2 and for some reason they kept staying so we got to play games like that for about 4-5 games in a row..
  16. QUOTE (GoodAsGould @ Jan 3, 2011 -> 11:52 AM) Id take a flyer on Ryan Mallet or Cam Newton in the 2nd. Highly unlikely EITHER of them are available into the 2nd round
  17. QUOTE (beckham15 @ Jan 1, 2011 -> 08:58 PM) i have Call of Duty Black Ops but havent played the new Medal of Honor. I've been thinking about buying it but not for sure which one is better? Opinions anyone? Medal of Honor is terrible, Black Ops is way better If you REALLY feel like playing a game like Medal of Honor, then just go get Bad Company 2.. but MoH was not a very good game.. short campaign, meh multiplayer.. it doesn't compare to Black Ops.. at the very least rent it, but I wouldn't buy it if I hadn't played it yet..
  18. QUOTE (dasox24 @ Dec 31, 2010 -> 08:04 PM) I agree. That's about the only situation I can gather why Weis would come back to the college level. He must have liked the coaching aspect of college football and want to be back in that environment. I think his ego was hurt by not having that "incredible advantage" while at Notre Dame and failing.. I think he is trying to rectify that in some fashion by going to Florida.. And honestly, Weis can get just about any OC job in the NFL if he wants it so there really is no downfall for him to go back to the college game and try to show people the type of NFL offense that is going to mystify college defenses..
  19. QUOTE (iamshack @ Dec 31, 2010 -> 01:59 PM) How did Slaton fall out of favor so quickly? I was shocked that he went from all-purpose back to a no one so quickly. he cant hang onto the ball
  20. what do you guys think about CM Punk as the new Nexus leader?
  21. QUOTE (dasox24 @ Dec 30, 2010 -> 12:49 AM) I was at the Texas Bowl tonight. Illinois was just too dominant on both lines, and I must say, Leshoure is legit. I think we all knew that but watching him in person, reading the blocks and.then accelerating through the hole was a real treat. I don't see how he won't be successful in the NFL. And unfortunately for Illinois, he'd be dumb to come back to school. I don't see how he could have a better season than this. The defense also came up huge today, and while Griffin had a big game, that was expected, and Illinois limited the rest of the players, which is exactly what they needed to do. Only complaint is that the mid- and deep-middle were open all day for Baylor. If Griffin had connected with a few open receivers, it could have been a whole different ball game. But, Illinois took advantage of that, and that's what winning teams do. Also, I think I was the only person in the stadium not fooled by Scheelhaase's TD run at the end of the game. I loved the play call. I couldn't get off work to go to the game, but my sister just graduated from Baylor and it was quite fun giving her s*** all night about the game..
  22. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Dec 27, 2010 -> 08:17 PM) MW2 was absolutely terrible. Black Ops fixes everything wrong with MW's multiplayer, but it is still not MW1. Campaign is decent. Story is a little out there, even for Call of Duty standards. COD4> Black Ops> COD2> MW2=WAW>COD3 Yeah MW2 was awful.. it started out real good but then it was hacked/glitched out the ass and broken as hell.. and infinity ward had already cashed in on it and didnt even bother to fix most of those problems.. Black Ops is the best COD game IMO.. MW1 was good too but the m16 was insanely overpowered, you only got 5 classes, and its multiplayer is pretty tame compared to what black ops offers
  23. uh Miami isn't trading Marshall
  24. 1.96 K/D and 7th prestige what you scrubs at?
