im concerned that we cant score a damn run to save our lives, yet we keep sneaking by with wins.. We score what, like 3 runs a game.. Hitting will improve though

I have two.. one is bad and the other is funny When I was 14 my little league All Stars team made it into the second round.. Well so far I had 5 HR's in the 4 games we have played and I was the best player on the team.. Well we were playing our leagues rival (We were Katy American, playing Katy National) We were losing like 4 - 0 when I came up and hit a 3 run HR... the next inning, anothre player on our team hit a 3 run HR.. so we were up heading into the last inning I think it was 6 - 5.. Well, they had the bases loaded with 2 outs and im in CF.. The ball gets hit right to me, pop fly, didnt have to run around or anything it was just a deep pop fly.. I missed it, completely.. Didnt hit my glove, nothing.. Just missed it.. They scored and won the game 7-6 and we were eliminated.. After that I never played baseball as good as I had in the past, I guess it screwed with my mind because I use to be awesome at baseball, but after that happened.. I just couldnt do it anymore.. My friend who was playing SS told me that when the ball was hit he had already started jogging to the dugout because thats how sure he was I would have had that.. Going into my freshman year in HS the baseball coach said that two kids didnt even have to try out they were already on the team, me and this pitcher.. well I lasted bout a year and a half before I finally had to quit because I just wasnt the same player anymore.. I wish I would have caught it though, I really did enjoy baseball.. Second story, I was playing on a Pony select team.. My friend was pitching and they had the bases loaded.. well the guy at bat crushed one straight to me, I started sprinting back looking at the ball.. Well the ball started coming down and I was getting ready to catch it when I slammed face first into the fence.. And it wasnt a wooden fence it was a chain link fence.. This is the worst part.. My feet got stuck under the fence, so I couldnt move.. They got an in the park grand slam and I had a busted lip and cut knee.. oh yeah and everyone laughed at my ass when I got back to the dugout.. Ohh, one more.. a few games later I got to pitch for that select team and I had a Grand Slam and a Solo HR hit off me in the same inning.. When the coach came to take me out he said "Sometimes your a bug, sometimes your a windshield"
