  1. QUOTE(AddisonStSox @ Mar 29, 2005 -> 01:44 PM) 10. David Greene GU- LOVE THIS KID. What a winner. One of the most record-breaking individuals in the SEC, Greene had an absolutely stellar collegiate career. This kid just doesn't lose. He is an amazing leader both on and off the field. the only problemy with David is his very average skills. He really doesn't have any aspect of the game that is overpowering or above average. That said, I still think he could have a Tom Brady type situation and excel in the NFL after having backed someone up for a few years. If he only had an amazing arm, he would be a first round selection. I absoloutley hate David Greene.. everytime I see someone at Finheaven make a mock draft with the Dolphins taking him I get so mad.. He is going to be nothing more than a backup in his career.. NFL isnt like college where you dont have to be a franchise QB to win.. Especially being at Georgia.. I just dont think he has the tools to be a starting QB in the NFL.. Great college career, but he wont be a starter in the NFL
  2. QUOTE(AddisonStSox @ Mar 30, 2005 -> 09:49 PM) Woa. I dunno about that one. Young is already being talked about as one of the better QB prospects of the future. However, I could easily see Shockley making the move. Have you ever seen Young throw.. its not that pretty.. The man is unstopable when he runs, but he will have to improve on his throwing if he is gonna make it as a franchise QB in the NFL... otherwise he is just gonna be another Michael Bishop
  3. QUOTE(AddisonStSox @ Mar 30, 2005 -> 04:44 PM) He is one of the best pure athletes in the draft. Jason Campbell is another one of these ubber-athletes. That said, a second round selection of Jones is a reach. A first round selection is downright goofy. If a team falls in love with him (the way Fotop has ) you may see him go in the second round, but I think he is a third-fourth round fit. Some scouts question his hands; others question the impact he can have on an offense. I think he'll be a nice TE/WR hybrid that may or may not be a crucial piece of an offense. Can someone tell me the last ubber-athlete QB gone WR in the NFL? Yikes. where have you seen his hands are questionable? Everything I have heard was he had some of the best hands at the combine..
  4. QUOTE(Soxbadger @ Mar 30, 2005 -> 04:20 PM) Each of these players at most is commanding a 2nd round pick, Ive heard the offer for Surtain is a 4. Your right, and its the biggest slap in the face ever... a 4th for an elite CB?? Get the f*** outta here... this is why KC will never have a defense If they could add a CB like Surtain, to a D that already added a very good LB in Bell and a ballhawk safety like Knight.. they would be in MUCH better shape than last year.. and with that offense they could make a SB run a 4th for Surtain, come on... Im going to be laughing my ass off when Moss is burning them up and down the field 2X a year
  5. QUOTE(witesoxfan @ Mar 29, 2005 -> 11:18 PM) Rivers was also drafted 4th overall. This is the #1 pick overall. I could see either Rivers+12 for the #1, or Rivers+28 for the #1...I can't see just Rivers straight up for the #1. I do find it interesting that the thought of San Diego moving up comes into play. I could see them moving up to anywhere in the top 4, and all 4 spots essentially guarantees them Braylon Edwards. I will also say that the only 2 that help the Bears would be San Diego moving up to 2 and 4. Actually since Rivers was traded to the #1 spot he got paid like he was the #1 pick.. according to what they were saying on draft day
  6. QUOTE(aboz56 @ Mar 31, 2005 -> 09:54 AM) He lost all credibility on that part. Jacque Jones is so much better at this point in career than Juan Gonzalez it's not even close. Juan will be lucky to play more than 70 games. ide take Juan over Jaque IF Juan could stay healthy for an entire year.. which prolly wont happen
  7. QUOTE(aboz56 @ Mar 31, 2005 -> 08:41 AM) Weber must not be very hot on the recruiting trail. Who knows though, these 3 guys could turn into great players, its so tough to tell with some of these kids coming out. With the right coaching and situation, they could become all-americans. Look at Louisville, Dean and Garcia weren't McDonald's All-Americans, neither were Ellis Myles or Larry O'Bannon. Hell O'Bannon begged Pitino for a scholarship and look where all of these guys are now. These rankings are nice to look at, but they can also be misleading, especially when you are going to play for a great coach like Weber. I agree with you.. With Webers coaching those 3 star guys we recruit could be more around the 4 or so range Weber is a great coach, which is going to help us a lot But if we dont start getting some of those star players it could be trouble for the future..

  12. QUOTE(Jabroni @ Mar 30, 2005 -> 06:55 PM) Yes I did. oh ok, so you have evidence that Garland did NOT get the win the other day
  13. QUOTE(Jabroni @ Mar 30, 2005 -> 06:54 PM) I only like posting stats to prove you wrong. Youve never proved me wrong.. I said Garland got the win, which was 100% correct.. your the one who wouldnt shut up about something that wasnt even being talked about zzzzzzing
  14. QUOTE(Jabroni @ Mar 30, 2005 -> 04:24 PM) I think I'm going to kill myself if I see you post any more stats. coming from you thats shocking.. What are we gonna do if Everett is killing the ball when Frank comes back? Move him? Just say he is playing at an All Star level when Frank returns... what do we do??

QUOTE(Kid Gleason @ Mar 30, 2005 -> 12:39 PM) Isn't word in the wind that she just might be the biggest idiot in the history of Hollywood? Ashton Kutchner (however you spell it) was even quoted as to having broken up with her because of her stupidity. Whatever her intelligence is, she always rated a "meh" with me. Same here, Im gonna look to see if I can find a picture from the show to see how different it is... but ive never been a fan of her
