4 numbers keep flashing in my head after almost every at bat... 2003. He's off to his worst start ever, batting average wise. Yes, worse than in 2003. May 16 2003 Kong was at least hitting .227... I do give him this, he has a better OBP than 2003.. but this hitting is starting to depress me.

The Soxune today is a very fun read. Very original articles and an EXCELLENT story on Garland. The story on Garland is not the kind of stuff we all know, but more into his heroes in life. I really recommend going out and picking up a copy of the Trib.

In my opinion, last night Jon morphed into one of the best pitchers in the AL. I said earlier in the game that this was Jon's true test to show if he was for real or not. Damn, is he for real. If I ever see him called Judy again, I'm gonna go nuts, because Judy is a thing of the past.

Xbox fanboys are laughable. They fail to realize that the Hexbox was released a full year after the PS2. You can do a lot in a full year. You can analyze everything on the PS2 and make every part of your machine better. Yes, the Hexbox is a better machine, but when I already own a PS2 and then Hexbox comes out I'm not gonna lay down another 300 dollars for a machine with slightly better graphics, a hard drive, a monstrosity of a controller, and an opening day lineup that completely blows. But I can also say that there are plenty of Xbox exclusive games that I enjoy. One of them not being Halo. That game is sooo overrated. The only fun aspect of it is the multiplayer, and just about any boring game can be made halfway fun with a multiplayer mode.

Hey, this s*** happens to the best of the best. How do you think the Yankees feel, the Cubs? There are 162 games in the season. Sometimes you lose 1 heartbreaker. Sometimes you lose 2 heartbreakers in a row. Sometimes 3. I tend to look at the games before the all star break as our entertainment. If you win, great. If you lose, tough s***. Obviously, you want to win. The games after the break are where you need to step up and get s*** done and beat teams like Tampa Bay. Now, don't get me wrong. I fully understand that games in May mean just as much as games in August, they all count the same. But get s*** done after the all star break and you're going to be in good shape. Suck it up and go get them tomorrow. Gotta remember that teams like Tampa Bay, while generally not great teams, are still major league baseball teams. They want to win just as bad as you do. These teams aren't the ultimate pushovers everyone thinks they are. But hey, hopefully they learn from this loss and go out and do everything in their power to avoid being swept. All I know is that Everett, PK, and Jermaine owe us some serious hits.
