I saw Team America: World Police yesterday and it was a pretty funny movie. It lacked the one liners that are great from comedies because you can quote them. However, it still had good developing bits and such. My friends and I agreed the songs were by far the funniest thing in the movie. There is one scene that was just wrong and another that was just disgusting, but the movie isn't overboard other than that. Overall, I'd recommend it for anyone who likes South Park. Try to avoid spoilers of sorts because it can ruin the shock comedy that is pulled throughout the movie.

Mesa has played 9 games. Anderson has 23 at bats, Rogowski and Lopez 15. Baj has given up 5 runs in 2 innings and Ulacia has given up 6 in 6.1 IP. Matt Smith, however, is pitching well. In 7 innings Smith is yet to give up a run. Oddly enough he sports a not so hot 1.58 WHIP. With a good showing throughout the whole season in the AFL it's very possible to see him possibly coming up at midseason. I have little doubt that he will start the season in AAA.

With the way major sports teams in this town have done recently, I won't be surprised if the Wolves start sucking now that they are the main hockey team in Chicago.

It's only the culmination of the season. :rolly It will be interesting to see the Big Ten race shape out. NU will see Wisconsin (I'm hoping they will have a letdown next week), Purdue, and Michigan in the next 4 weeks. They could help decide the Big Ten title in a weird kind of way if they pull an upset. Also, as much as I wanted the NU upset of OSU to look good, I'll enjoy it more if OSU doesn't make a bowl game!

Well, the 14 is a bit skewed. 2 of them are duplicates for making the lists of 2 leagues (Anderson, BMac) and 2 of them were traded (Reed and Morse). Leaving us with 10, which is probably more towards the middle of the pack. The bulk of the Sox minor leagues was in A ball this season. W-S and Kanny both had talented rosters. Other than Anderson and BMac I don't really see anything worth getting excited over that was in AA or higher this season. After these guys in A ball reach AA, I'm sure a few will drop off the prospect radar (AA is the biggest jump, it happens all the time). While we will still have more guys than we do now to get excited over, it's nothing jaw dropping. Most of these guys are 2nd and 3rd tier prospects. By top tier prospect I mean guys that most expect to be stars in the bigs. There are very few of those. Even BMac is unproven because AA is the most important level for a prospect in terms of proving himself and his one season could be considered a fluke. Sure, in my eyes, with the numbers BMac put up I think he is a top tier guy. However, from the national perspective he has to prove this season in A ball wasn't a flash in the pan. Other guys could become top tier, but they are unproven (Sweeney, Fields). Anderson is borderline, his injury hampered him in AA so I don't know. Anyway, if you really cared about me going on and on or not, I think the Sox have a middle of the road farm system that has potential to be better in the next couple years.

Miami is getting beat 17-7 against Louisville at the Orange Bowl. Louisville has had a powder puff schedule up until now and has a powder puff schedule after tonight. In other words, if Louisville wins tonight, they should find their way into a BCS game.

As long as you took note of it. Also I noticed a mistake in my scoring for week 5. You have me at 7-7 with 8 points, I am 8-6 with 11 points. You probably misscored my Monday Night game. Also as I check for other mistakes...Show was shorted a win and a point. You colored the wins correctly, but didn't add up his record and score right. Also I saw The Bones actually make his Bills Jets pick after noon kickoff, but before that game's kickoff. I'm not sure if that was a mistake or just that the pick was late. I felt it was worth pointing out either way. That's it. I figure you work hard on this so it's ok to screw up a bit. I just wouldn't want to be one of the guy's getting screwed over (and I am! ). So again, I'm not trying to make you look like an idiot, just trying to get it right.
