The refs gave the game to the Twolves here. Last play of the game, Pistons down 1. Billups drives with a lot of contact, he makes the basket, and they call an offensive foul. That was the worst call I have ever seen. There was contact, but he didn't even extend his arm. I have no idea how that is offensive. Did anybody else see this? On a sidenote, it's nice to see top eastern teams playing well. The Pistons went into Minny and played well. Indiana lost to the Rockets at home, but they have been doing well. As a Bulls fan I hate these teams, but I'm sick of the east sucking.

The men's game is so underrated. People only like to see the big names at the end. The men's field is so deep that it's hard for the top guys to do that. Unfortunately, the boring women's field gets more publicity because the big names are the only players worth a damn so they make it to the end.

Anybody planning on seeing it? I really want to see it. I just got a hunch on this movie. Kutcher is on Conan now. As much as I don't think Kutcher can pull that role off, it's possible. Thoughts? Sidenote: for those of us Kristin Kreuk fans, she is Conan's next guest.

A little sidenote about Dean...He was pretty funny on the Late Show doing the Top Ten. A candidate with personality that can make fun of himself tends to do better than someone who is boring. Gore seemed to be the bore (sorry) and after he lost showed some of his emotion and sense of humor. He was pretty good on SNL.

I didn't insult you either. Basically, and honestly, you annoy me. Sorry to say it, but it's true. On some fronts though I do respect your opinion more than others. When you are talking college football you tend to be very insightful and mostly unbiased. Regardless, sometimes you say things that come off like you think you know you are right. I think when you are simply speaking opinions, that should not be inflected. Granted, it is online and we aren't actually talking so things can be misunderstood. To get back on topic, if the Sox move that sucks for Chicago Sox fans. I'll still be a fan. As Jas said, most of us here will be too. It would suck for various reasons, but it won't be the end of the world.

In all honesty why would he care if the team moves? He doesn't live in Chicago, and never has. He doesn't like the Sox based on the city they are in. The Sox aren't the hometown team to him so it doesn't matter what city they are in. I'm sure he'd like the Sox to be right in Massachusetts because that would be convenient to him. I don't think that's being overly selfish on his part. Of course I am basically speaking on his behalf here so don't go criticizing him for what I say.

The Nets are a bad analogy because they are like the Marlins of the NBA. The fans don't show, but the team is good. Of course the Marlins need a stadium, but that's not the point. I agree. I can only watch the big plays. The exception being the Northwestern Michigan game in 2000. The one where Damien Anderson dropped an open TD on 4th down to lead. Then A-Train fumbled and the Cats won. Over 1000 yards of total offense, what a game.

This FSU team just pisses me off. They are such assholes on the court. They think they are better than they are. They can't do s*** away from home though, they feed off the crowd. It's not surprising they played only 2 road games on the non-conference schedule (and one of them was against Stetson). It's even less surpising they are 0-3 on the road in the ACC. I don't think this team should even be considered for the tourney as of now. Sorry Spiff, nothing personal. I just hate your dawgs.

I went to a Seattle game a couple years ago. I will never make that mistake again. Damn Ichiro fans. I just can't picture people screaming, "SHINGO!!!!!!!!!!!!" like they would "ICHHHHIRROOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Then again, you never know. Hopefully they don't do that cuz that would suck big time. In seriousness it sounds like a good move. Even if he sucks because nobody else would offer him the closer role but us it's a good publicity move to say that they did something of note. I'm hoping nobody wanted to take the chance to offer him the closer role. If the Sox were the only ones to do that either they saw something or that the Sox just wanted him that badly, desperate for a move.

Yeah in that case the chicks did it all. The guys were merely spectators in almost every case. Almost every guy was watching. My mom told me about a cheerleading hazing thing when she was a kid. It's not a sex thing, it's just that sports are a common spot for hazing and more guys play sports.

It's my decision and I prefer you let it be mine instead of mocking me for it.
