Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. He says that, but he won't manage that way. To be honest I never really got the feeling that Manuel trusted Kock after losing that game on opening day.

I don't want to make you feel too much worse so I'll just let the quote do the talking. roman-He can take it again in 24 hours. After you fail the test you have to wait 24 hours before you take it again. He can take it as many times as he needs, but I wouldn't want to have to go to the dmv an extra time.

I couldn't sleep tonight so I woke up at 6AM and having this isn't the first time I couldn't sleep this summer I know Vh1 plays videos in the morning. So I put it on as something to watch. I've now seen 4 songs repeated and that's not including 2 groups having 2 different songs of theirs played. Is this a lazy vj or a crappy computer? lol

I didn't mean it as an insult. Those colors truely look gay. Teal, bright orange. I don't really care, just throwing it out there. I didn't see either undefeated team in action, but I would have to say that you don't have to be undefeated to be the best team in NFL history. You can always have an easier schedule or injuries that don't let you go undefeated. Just because they weren't undefeated doesn't mean the 85 Bears weren't the best team ever.

I don't know much about Hummel, but judging from his numbers and the guys in front of him on the Sox I think the most value he will give us is in a trade. Things could open up for him, but as you said he isn't ripping it up in AAA.
-
Benson could be good, but I don't think a team should take the risk on him at this time of year. Some up and coming team could take him and hope he solidifies their rotation a bit. If the Sox get Benson I'd be disappointed, but he could be good somewhere else.

That trade never looked good. We traded 2 good young pitchers for a career average starter. The deal got worse after Ritchie was awful and Wells and Fogg blossomed.

Teams don't make the playoffs despite things. The Sox won't make the playoffs unless everything is clicking. That includes pitching, hitting, fielding, and yes Koch. We will need him to step up along with the rest of the team to make the playoffs. I won't get my hopes up until I see the whole team get going for a good stretch. With that said I feel much, much better about this team in the postseason after this winning streak.

I'd give up any of those 3 you named. I wouldn't give up on Crede yet. If it were up to me though we wouldn't make the deal.

Thank you very much Gash for finding these great games. Honestly, those games were crap. The 2nd one was the easiest, the 1st was the hardest.

It's truely ridiculous. After looking at the whole list I think Vh1 intentionally made the list s***ty to get people to talk about it, and it worked. Conan O'Brien was making fun of the list on his show by picking a huge name on the list and then looking at the person just ahead of them. Ie... 124. Sigmund Freud-the father of modern psychology 123. Jane Fonda-had a workout video I don't see how Oprah is #1 or even close, but my biggest beef was with Babe Ruth at 136. He was as big if not bigger than as MJ, Ali, or anybody on that list in his day. The list was too modernized. After watching some of it my favorite line came from Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighters, "I would have given my left nut to be with Molly Ringwald for one day." It's not as much what he said as much as how he said it.

Anybody else think that the Dolphins have the gayest colors in the NFL? Sorry for more criticism be good, but you are talking about the dolphins on a chicago message board. What do you expect?
-
We now have a better record than the Cubs!!!
-
Unfortunately I think you are right. Those numbers aren't even close.
-
That's right. I don't think the T'Wolves can get it done. Olowakandi is an average center, Wally is a one dimensional player, and Cassell and Spree will take shots away from KG. I don't think this will get them out of the first round. If they were in the east they'd be my pick for the finals though. They just can't beat the big 4 of the west.
-
The more games the better. I don't see why you wouldn't be able to do it as long as it's different from Spiff's weekly picks.
-
The Bulls wanted him the most. I'm pretty sure he had a meeting with Memphis and Portland knew they couldn't re-sign him, but they wanted to.
-
LOL, Bmr you will argue about anything won't you?
-
Hopefully trying to get to 400 won't effect Frank's play. He looked damn good today though. I'm thinking he will be fine though.
-
This is the kind of stuff this lineup is capable of doing. Anybody else think it's a bit weird that this is the best the offense has looked in a while and neither Alomar nor Everett played?
-
Williams is a good pitcher. I think he is just having a bad year. I still can't believe the Phillies are doing so well. If I were them I'd make another trade though.
-
Pippen led pretty well in Portland. Not that he kept the guys out of trouble, but I'm talking on court. Whether he is a leader or not, he has experience. That is also important. He also should improve this team. I wouldn't be surprised if they made the playoffs, but I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't make the playoffs either. I'm expecting 35 wins or so, which is just missing the playoffs so it wouldn't be a stretch to get a few more wins and get in.
-
Yes and they proved when they took Kirk Hinrich over T.J. Ford among others.
-
He was hilarious on Kimmel's show. That was some damn good stuff. He's made a fan out of me!

If you are sick of losing, then stop caring. How do you think I got through the later 90s? There is no need to get mad. Realize that this team is total crap and that they suck worse than the Tigers.
