  1. Next profile is of James Kaprielian, who is widely considered to be the safest bet to become a solid MLB starter from this draft class. Has also been linked to the Sox recently.
  2. Walker Buehler preview. His stock is down a bit this season but he's still an interesting option.
  3. Starting it off with Carson Fulmer: http://www.chicagonow.com/future-sox/2015/...-carson-fulmer/ We will be looking at the most likely targets for the Sox at #8, with Tyler Jay, Kyle Funkhouser, Walker Buehler and more to come over the next two weeks. Also check out Daniel's post on the prospect of drafting the injured Aiken/Matuella if you haven't already http://www.chicagonow.com/future-sox/2015/...chael-matuella/
  4. Andre Wheeler done: 3 IP, 1 H, 1 R, 4 BB, 4 SO.
  5. And finally the relief pitchers: http://www.chicagonow.com/future-sox/2015/...stem-relievers/
  6. QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ May 18, 2015 -> 12:24 AM) Obviously you always take BPA, but if it's close I'd really like to see the Sox take a position player. I'd go the other way, even with the added risk of injury that pitchers bring. Sox strength is in scouting and developing arms, and keeping them relatively healthy. Why steer away from that?
  7. Guerrero- 6 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 8 SO. Time to move him up.
  8. Engel 2/2, 3B, HR in his first 2 trips to the plate. Hardest half of the cycle completed.
  9. http://www.milb.com/scoreboard/index.jsp?s...mp;ymd=20150517 Beck Blackmar Heidenreigh Guerrero
  10. Onto the pitchers now with the starters: http://www.chicagonow.com/future-sox/2015/...ystem-starters/ The more I look at Danish's stats the more I like him. To do what he's doing at this age is extremely impressive.
  11. QUOTE (ChiSox59 @ May 15, 2015 -> 04:39 AM) Rodon faced the Reds. Haha, I should sleep...
  12. QUOTE (Mike F. @ May 15, 2015 -> 02:17 AM) Any predictions for start #2 with our young stud? I'm guessing: 7 IP, 4 H, 1 ER, 3 BB, 10 K and the win. Well the Brewers suck. As a team they have the 2nd highest K% and 5th lowest BB% in baseball this year, so were an ideal match-up for Rodon's first start. Oakland should be much tougher. They're one of the better teams at putting the ball in play, and rarely swing at pitches out of the zone, so not a good match-up for a rookie with control/command issues. 10K in 7IP is probably a little optimistic. Maybe 6 IP, 4 BB, 5 SO. No idea for hits/runs.
  13. QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ May 14, 2015 -> 01:21 AM) It's funny how some don't think he has much home run power I don't think this is true. Everyone recongizes his raw power and potential to hit home runs. He just doesn't hit enough balls in the air to do it on a regular basis.
  14. Jose Berrios threw a 2 hit shutout against the Barons. He good.
  15. Next up are the outfielders: http://bitly.com/1A0l8ve Another pretty deep list. May and Engel are two of my favourite prospects.
  16. QUOTE (fathom @ May 12, 2015 -> 12:57 AM) Sucks to see Davidson's batting average slowly creeping towards .200 It does suck, but he's striking out more than ever so it's certainly not surprising.
  17. QUOTE (LDF @ May 9, 2015 -> 04:24 PM) friends.... i am not talking about the cost. if i remember correctly, those games are the games that you, as a fan, can not control. i am a sox fan, i only want to watch sox minor league games, not some other mlb baseball team crap. So just watch the Sox games. You can choose which game you want as long as it is being broadcast. Check the schedule today, you can watch all of the Sox affiliates, including both games of the W-S double header. http://www.milb.com/milb/multimedia/milbtv...iateID=MiLBmenu
  18. Engel with 3 more steals. He's 19/22 on the year now. Him and Keenyn run like crazy. The Dash have 6 more steals today and already lead the league in steals by 6 coming into today.
  19. Kiley's first mock has Sox taking Jay: http://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/a-far-too-e...mlb-mock-draft/
  20. QUOTE (GreenSox @ May 7, 2015 -> 05:18 AM) A Garcia may not walk much, but he's not a hacker either. he knows what he's doing. That was a nice hit he had. He has the second highest Swing% in baseball, 5th highest O-swing% and a well below average O-contact%. I'd say that qualifies him as a hacker.
  21. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ May 4, 2015 -> 08:54 PM) Here's the link! Thanks.
  22. Middle Infield: http://t.co/Xnw0Ffl29f Thankfully a much deeper list this time.
  23. May 1-2, 2 BB, 3 SB (now 10-13 in SBA) Nice to see some patience from May as he only had 4 BB's prior to this game.
  24. Luis Martinez- 6.2 IP, 4 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 5 SO Ynoa- 2 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 0 B, 3 SO
  25. QUOTE (fathom @ May 2, 2015 -> 08:19 PM) 4/11 stealing Fangraphs' base running stat entering today: 29. Rockies -3.6 runs 30. White Sox -6.6 runs Hahaha so bad.
