C.J. Retherford is 5'10" and he might even be 5'11". He looks shorter because he is stocky, but mostly because his legs and forearms are huge. He was taller than me and I'm 5'9". The shortest guy on the Barons was C.J. Lang, he was about 5'7" or 5'8" and Retherford was taller than him. Baseball players are bigger than they look, I even think Jordan Danks is taller than listed. Nobody was taller than him on the Barons this past year. He may be at least 6'5".

I think effectively wild is a better explanation. He's a poor man's K-Rod. He was the class clown of the Barons and one of the more personable players I've met.

I will miss Getzy, he's a hard worker and a baseball rat. He'll have a long career, I agree with the Grudzielanek comparison, but I'd say he's more like Blake DeWitt, Mike Fontenot or Ryan Theriot.
