I don't know if this has been mentioned before but I do think that Framing Hanley's version of Lollipop is heck of a lot easier to listen to.

QUOTE (Brian @ Nov 5, 2008 -> 05:11 PM) I was 15 when we had to put my dog to sleep. Got him when I was in 1st grade. It was sooooo hard! I don't know if I want to get another dog ever again so I don't have to go through that pain again. I'm a softy. That's what my mom said. My dad offered to get her a new one, but she says she doesn't want to go through the pain again. What I'm thinking about is talking to her over Thanksgiving, and we may consider getting her a new puppy over Christmas break when I'll be home for a month and can help out. That was Lucky.

QUOTE (Tony82087 @ Nov 5, 2008 -> 02:13 PM) Sorry buddy. Thats a tough one. I have a pooch thats 13, and she has started to limp around, and really can't jump on the couch anymore. I know it's coming, but it's had to deal with. Ours is 11. She's been having kidney and liver problems and wouldn't eat. She had a seizure a few days ago and wouldn't even stand up except for when my mom stopped by the vet the other day. She hadn't made much progress, so my dad and the vet made the call today. I also feel bad for my mom. My younger brother is now off at school, and my dad works 2nd shift so it was basically her and the dog. My dad said we'll likely have Lucky cremated and then will decide what to do from there...probably bury her out at my uncle's farm.

QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Nov 3, 2008 -> 10:47 PM) So they won a game at home? That's great, but it requires you to blow dick on the road, or you aren't really in contention for that. They typically do blow dick on the road. There's a reason it's always among the top home courts in America.

QUOTE (Jimbo's Drinker @ Nov 3, 2008 -> 02:38 PM) I think that is just called home court advantage. There was some study somewhere that showed that it provided the biggest home court advantage in the nation when you compare road with home performance.

QUOTE (Jimbo's Drinker @ Oct 31, 2008 -> 10:16 AM) It may be loud, but there is nothing historic about your arena. It has "magic" and you guys boo at every single call. And the problem with that is? The "magic" is that it lets seemingly horrible Iowa State teams compete with anyone.

QUOTE (bmags @ Oct 31, 2008 -> 02:36 PM) You can get a pretty good idea of how a state feels about a candidate. I know missouri is tight from living here, so I trust heads when he says Iowa loves Obama. Selzer has Obama up 54-37 in Iowa. That's a 17 point lead. Either we really do like Obama, or Selzer just polled Iowa City.
