  1. QUOTE(Jimbo's Drinker @ Jan 31, 2006 -> 12:04 PM) League may be down, but Kansas is red hot. Coach Self is really showing his true colors now. Best recruiter in nation has the best field goal percentage on defense, and has installed a running system, similiar to Roy Boy's. Davon Jefferson and Darrel Arthur are there for the taking also. By attaching your hopes for NCAA greatness to players like Sasha Kaun right now, I wouldn't feel overly optimistic. You're get excited because Kansas is taking advantage of a weak conference right now. What about the team that lost to Kansas State and Missouri?
  2. QUOTE(Jimbo's Drinker @ Jan 31, 2006 -> 10:58 AM) Oklahoma State is the only team that is really down this year. Iowa State, according to experts. Texas Tech, because one would have expected Zeno and Jackson to be doing better. Missouri and Oklahoma with HORRID starts The league as a whole is down this year and I cannot understand anyone who would argue otherwise.
  3. QUOTE(aboz56 @ Jan 30, 2006 -> 08:59 PM) Agreed 100%. I wouldn't be surprised either. Failing that, I'm thinking Bentz.
  4. QUOTE(YASNY @ Jan 31, 2006 -> 07:22 AM) I also thought one the main suggestions was not to have it during the typical school year. So, they choose finals week. :headshake I think that's only Gage's final week. Somehow, that happened.....LOL A lot of universities finish up in early May, I would think. My last day of regular classes is April 28. Also, this date was one thrown out at WSI and a lot of the older folk agreed with it......and since they had the vast majority last year, they're being catered to a little more.
  5. Well, you guys will still have to send in the forms when they come out. "Yeah, Kurt, theres like 15 who are in. I'll cover their costs for now."
  6. QUOTE(Jimbo's Drinker @ Jan 30, 2006 -> 11:18 PM) I don't know about that. Something tells me he stays 2. Don't be bitter now Cyclone. Talking to the guy over in charge of the PhogBlog, I'm gonna be mighty surprised if he sticks around in a diluted draft class.
  7. QUOTE(Jimbo's Drinker @ Jan 30, 2006 -> 10:21 PM) Kansas is looking damn good, we are now back to the running syle and these kids could really carry us. Too bad Mr. Rush will be gone next year.
  8. Closed per request of BHAM.
  9. QUOTE(minors @ Jan 30, 2006 -> 07:21 PM) Here is some interseting facts Counties won Bush 2642 Kerry 483 Square miles of counties won Bush 2.54 million Kerry 592,000 Crime Rate per 100,000 of area won Kerry 13.2 Bush 2.9 The numbers speak for them selves Mind speaking on the population density of thouse counties? A lot of the really red counties are populated by 4 families and a cow. Here's a map that is colored due to the amount that corresponds to how much the candidate won a county won by, as well as the population of the county. Really red, huh?
  10. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Jan 30, 2006 -> 03:52 PM) He was long thought of as a platoon outfielder at best. He's a good guy and he had a major regression this past year, but he should find himself higher up on the charts now that a few more outfielders are gone (Young in AZ; Anderson in CF and potentially Owens as a 4th outfielder). You know what I meant.
  11. Lunardi = dumbass = isu still in
  12. My dad gave me some wine-based irish cream.......yyyyyyuck
  13. Spidale was regarded highly after 04 but had some regression issues last year and went to WS. It's anybody's guess as to wehre he ends up.
  14. Kurt's been working with Hal (Torn Labrum here as well as at WSI) and they've come up with a date for this year's gathering. When: Monday May 22nd - The Return of Frank Thomas to the Cell, set for 7:05 start How Much: $44 a ticket/ plus any parking expense What: Pre-game patio party ticket and a lower reserved ticket I have also attached the flyer from last year.... Please also use this thread for any input like he asked. Let's get more than the handful from last year....you've got 4 months warning.
  15. At least Colorado will be ranked when we lose to them at home. Ugh, UNI. Why don't you go struggle to Drake again.
  16. QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ Jan 29, 2006 -> 06:25 PM) I see his point clearly. How can you be against killing known criminals who have commited heinous crimes and be for letting a woman kill her completely innocent child. Do you not see the irony? I see it and I don't think either is the right thing to do.
  17. On a side note, let's keep this on track with the death penalty so we can help out Tom....Sorry I went on a bit of a tangent.
  18. QUOTE(minors @ Jan 29, 2006 -> 06:21 PM) One thing I don't understand is how liberals can be against the death penalty but on the same hand be pro choice. The States need to cut down on the appeals process 1 state one Federal a limit of 5 years (that is long enough to fix any errors). Thugs need to actually pay for their crimes to most of these thugs LWOP is an upgrade in living conditions not a punishment. The States need to let the thugs know that they will be executed and within 5 years not 25. For every argument against capital punishment there is one that supports it. Just because you are pro choice does not mean you are pro abortion.
  19. BMac has some eyebrows on him, that's for sure.
  20. Where I come from, there's really only two types anybody buys....Ballpark and Oscar Mayer.
  21. QUOTE(Dick Allen @ Jan 29, 2006 -> 04:48 PM) I think just about any guy dating her would probably have a hernia problem. And now they are getting married....
  22. QUOTE(knightni @ Jan 28, 2006 -> 11:55 PM) Nothing positive can come from proving that you can do High School level homework still. Damn that quadratic formula.
  23. Oh, and guess what? Mike Vick led division I-A in passing efficiency as a freshman. But damn, that's not a connection.
  24. QUOTE(DukeNukeEm @ Jan 28, 2006 -> 08:10 PM) Thats just his legs, he has much better decision making ability and 10X the accuracy of Vick. He's also bigger than most LB's. The guy has one thing in common w/ Vick, his speed. There are almost no other similiarities. That's a damn big similarity.
  25. Heads22 replied to Heads22's topic in How Does That Work?
QUOTE(DukeNukeEm @ Jan 28, 2006 -> 08:03 PM) Heads, this actually has the perfect approach to it, you just need to start screwin w/ the features. Starts a new doc, 3x3, and draw 3 1px pencil marks diagonally down the doc. Define the patter (via Edit) and fill into a layer that lies just behind the logo and the two players. Really drop the Opacity on it til it looks cool. Also, it just lacks a border. You can use the pencil tool and shift to make straight lines which makes borders a lot less tedious. If you follow tohse directions, please repost it. : Yeah, I only saved the final image. Not the layers. LOL
