I was at the game and I had a basketball game this morning. God, I just wish the Clones would decide whether or not they care sometime relatively soon.

Then comes the awkwardness of field dressing a buck...... I've been dressing my own deer with only minimal guidance.....a warm deer usually cures the chills.

It's amazing how your heart starts racing. For anyone who hasn't been deer hunting, they ahve no idea what its like.

Hell, even if every hunter in Iowa killed two deer there'd still be a f***load left.

Friday nite I stayed up late playing poker.....15 foot up in a tree is not a good place to fall asleep.....I nearly fell out of the tree the next morning...it's not really a sport, but hey, it's still a thrill. We have every deer processed too. I think we're processing one and eating it, giving one away for food and donating one to a program to help feed the needy.

Got an 8-point buck at about 4 this afternoon. God, field dressing a buck is an odd ordeal that is a lot different than a doe....just awkward. 9 hunters, 7 deer, 6 bucks over two days. And I won 20 bucks in a game of hold'em.
