  2. QUOTE (Heads22 @ Nov 26, 2009 -> 07:13 PM) Aggies up 7-0, wasting no time. Longhorns already marching, though. Could be a fun, high scoring game. Wow, there you go making yourself sound smart.

  15. The episode of South Park on right now, "Major Boobage" might be one of the worst they've ever done thanks simply to that Heavy Metal homage.
  16. ISU 96, MVSU 55. Apparently MVSU was very close with Gonzaga for most of the game. Started out up 14-10, before ISU went on a 23-4 run, and ultimately outscored them 86-45 from that point. Craig Brackins is still awesome. 28 points, 12 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals and 2 blocks in 29 minutes. Gilstrap with with 21 and 5. Garrett with 8 more assists and it looks like we should LaRon Dendy back for Friday.
  17. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Nov 20, 2009 -> 11:30 PM) So how about that Wesley Johnson, heads? He be good. At least ISU is rolling again today, up 62-33 on Mississippi Valley State with 13 or so minutes left.

Gotta love when you text a girl to say whats up and you get this text back "wanna f***?!?" Too bad she's not in the same town as me tonight....
  22. Wait, how we were out ahead of the Peavy stuff? I forget.
  23. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Nov 17, 2009 -> 11:18 PM) This "Weber is afraid of the MVC" talk is nonsense. When was the last time a major school went on the road to a mid-major? It RARELY happens, not because those teams are afraid, but because of the money involved. Why on earth would you play a game that will gain you ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, on any level, when you can play an NIU or SIUE, or Wofford, or whatever at home, sell out, and make bank. And this mid-major woe is me crap is getting old. Guess what, if you're a mid-major and you want to be taken seriously, win your conference, make the tournament, and make some noise. You do that and you get invited to the pre-season tourneys and the occasional neutral site game that'll get you more attention. There's a reason that 7-8 years ago SIU was a great mid major program (thanks to Weber). There's a reason teams like Butler, Gonzaga, etc are rated. They win and they win consistently. So, until you get screwed ala the non-bcs schools in football, shut it. /end rant You mean like Iowa State at Drake last night? Or our games at UNI and Iowa next year?
  24. On a side note, Iowa is f***ing horrible. Down 33-25 at home again at the half to Duquesne.
