Looks to me like we’re playing the Yankees at home. If the Oakland game gets the A’s a win, and both the Yankees and Blue Jays both lose... it doesn’t matter if the Indians or twins lose or win. In either of those situations we would be 4th and play the Yankees at home. edit: scratch that, if the Indians and twins both win under the above - were playing at Minnesota as the 7th seed.

So when we lose... if the twins, Indians, a’s, and Yankees also lose with the Blue Jays winning, we face the blue jays as the 4 seed. That’s probably the best outcome possible at this point and aside from the twins game being tied... so far it’s coming to pass.

I said Lopez had 4 good starts and Dunning had been really poor in his previous two. Our number 3 slot and on in this rotation is completely in shambles right now. There really isn’t any good option other than openers and burning the bullpen. If Babyface pitches well again today, it would be a different conversation.
