Wow, he fell off the face of the earth.  I mean I don't know if his old ceiling is still in there, but it's worth a shot on a MiLB deal.

If Carson Fulmer is still getting shots, this guy might as well have a chance too ?

I am assuming injuries have left him as a shell of his prospect form.

I was a big fan of this kid when he came with the Royals. Here is one of the “find lightning in a bottle” bullpen additions that could yield a nice return if something clicks, however unlikely that may be.

From the little I know he has been plagued by mechanical flaws and health issues.

There’s some stuff in this article from March saying he was back in the 92-94 range in spring training, has been working at Driveline, and added a curveball. I’ve got nothing talking about how he was this year other than his stats struggling at AAA, and some 2019-2020 articles about how he was back to throwing in the 90s but it wasn’t translating to results on the field.

seems like a worthy left handed milb flier, we've certainly signed guys with less stuff

You're half right.

His stats do look like the lefty version of Fulmer  - I wonder if he spins it like Fulmer.  Just cut the walks by 2/3 and we have a major league pitcher!
