  1. QUOTE (CaliSoxFanViaSWside @ Aug 14, 2016 -> 01:23 PM) He didn't need to read anything. 2 outs so any hesitation would just be plain stupid baseball that little leaguers should execute properly. Yea. Carlos certainly should have made it a much closer play and it's on him. I think if he had a better lead, better secondary lead, and more aggressive off the bat movement - that it still would have been a close play. Considering Mathis didn't have the ball to well secured, if Carlos does the above -- the ball either hits him or gets knocked lose on the play.
  2. No one is holding him on and he's like two full strides from the bag as the pitch is being delivered. He's also leaning TOWARDS second base still. Fail.
  3. Alright. Watched the replay... 1.) Sanchez had a PATHETIC lead off second when the ball was hit. 2.) He didn't get an aggressive secondary lead and held up a bit on the hit, unsure if it would drop or not. 3.) It was fielded shallow and was an aggressive move to send him home 4.) If Carlos had a more aggressive lead, secondary lead, and flawless read off the bat - he would have scored.
  4. I'm anxious to see the replay. For only one reason - to see the jump Carlos got off the bat. Baseless hypothesis is that he didn't get a good jump and would have been safe if he was a better base runner. The guy sucks on the base paths.
  5. QUOTE (elrockinMT @ Aug 14, 2016 -> 01:06 PM) MLB puts IN rules and doesnt enforce them The call on the field was 100% correct and it wasn't even close to warrant an over ruling.
  6. QUOTE (fathom @ Aug 14, 2016 -> 01:06 PM) Also please just play Coats every game. Don't care how bad he looks, at least you see what he can do. shuck has no business getting any playing time. Nothing like a slap hitter batting .213 This.
  7. The ball took him into the base path. It was a legal play. He didn't drop the ball either guys. The broadcasters are just spewing biased crap all over.
  8. The ball took him into the base path you morons. Morons meaning WS broadcasters.
  9. QUOTE (hi8is @ Aug 14, 2016 -> 12:57 PM) Sanchez has been aweful on the base paths. Yea... Pinch run him! This.

  20. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Aug 12, 2016 -> 06:54 PM) the damage this has done to Fulmer's trade value...not sure how that's much of a positive with how much he has been exposed. The jury is FAR from out on Fulmer.

  23. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Aug 11, 2016 -> 12:23 PM) Today's Knuckleball @KnuckleballFRS .@JonHeyman explains why better offers will come in the offseason for the #WhiteSox Chris Sale and Jose Quintana - http://www.todaysknuckleball.com/al/chicago-white-sox/heyman-better-offers-sale-quintana-will-come-offseason/ …://http://www.todaysknuckleball.com/al...me-offseason/ …://http://www.todaysknuckleball.com/al...me-offseason/ … What a fantastic article... Not.
  24. QUOTE (soxforlife05 @ Aug 11, 2016 -> 02:40 AM) Rodon would be the guy who needs to pitch like a 3. Shields is more like a 5th starter at this point. And if the Sox don't spend this offseason they aren't contending. I don't care who they acquire, they will NOT contend unless some combination of 2 solid-elite players are acquired through FA and/or trade not including signing Morneau. +1
  25. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Aug 11, 2016 -> 07:37 AM) The Sox are trading Robertson in the offseason Boldly stated.
