  4. QUOTE(Misplaced_Sox @ Oct 18, 2005 -> 02:24 AM) I do not reccomend taking a bus from to/from red line stop at 95th It is very dangerous The area immediately around 95th Cottage Groove is not a place to be after dark. Take this from someone who knows this place like the back of my hand. This route is fine for taking to the game during "light hours" but watch your pockets valuables, do not have expensive gadgets on you. But at night... after the game... for a ride home... I do not reccomend it at all... travel at your own risk. I have been strong armed robbed, friends, family in this area. If your staying at the Hilton Oak Lawn just grab the metra up and then take a cab back.... in fact if im in town I will drive you back personally to save your from the horror that has become Cottage Grove wow, good good good to know how far is it from the park? any idea how much cabs cost? and would you really be willing to hook me up with a ride? thanks again amigos.
  5. QUOTE(BigSqwert @ Oct 18, 2005 -> 02:39 AM) Bring a bible and a shot of whiskey. sounds like one out of my book hahaha

  16. QUOTE(santo=dorf @ Oct 16, 2005 -> 06:00 PM) First off, it was a great deal to get an authentic jersey for $113, BUT I noticed a smudge mark on a small area of the jersey, the outline of where the old comiskey park patch is notciable,(it was removed) and the front lettering looks to be placed too high up on the jersey. The top of the "S" in the sox logo is at the first, not the second button, and the front number is at the second, not the third button. anyone else notice this with their jerseys? LMAO at your sig hahaha
  17. did anyone here have crappy seats for either privious game and move down to better seats? if so, what inning were you able to move?

  22. QUOTE(whitesoxmanager @ Oct 16, 2005 -> 05:58 AM) the mob scene after the game behind the dugout was absolutely classic. i attend each spring training, follow every offseason move, listen to the pre & post game shows. watch every game on mlb.tv or wgn. AND NOW IT COMES DOWN TO THIS?! OMG! THE CHICAGO WHITE SOX ARE 1 WIN AWAY FROM THE LONGAWAITED WORLD SERIES! I AM SO THANKFUL TO BE SO CLOSE & CENTER WITH THIS TEAM & A HANDFUL OF SOX FANS IN ANAHEIM. WE ARE TRYING OUR BEST TO REPRESENT THOSE IN CHICAGO WHO COULDNT MAKE IT BUT ARE DYING TO BE WITH US! THIS HAS TRULY BEEN AWESOME. FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO HAVE NEVER SAT IN AN OPPOSING CROWD WITH THE MAGNITUDE OF THE OUTCOME AT STAKE WEARING WHITESOX GEAR IT IS AN ABSOLUTE DREAM COMETRUE! thats what i be sayin n**** w00t w00t
  23. by the way, any pictures taken of the action of of the crowd would be awsome to check out!
  24. that was freaking awsome! durring about the 7th inning i was giving high fives to other soxs fans around us... some dumb ass threw a plastic bottle full of beer at be... odd thing was, it landed wedged between my arm and my chest... so very little spilled and i was able to salvage it... i caught the freaking thing with my arm pit, grabed it and drank it... all the while, white soxs fans were yealling at the idiot who threw it... funny moment =D the celibration behind the dugout was classic i can only imagine what it would be like in chicago.
