My complaint wasn't about people liking Wise and never has been... to be honest I'm too arrogant to repeat my point so I'm not going to.

Snowe isn't in any danger of losing re-election so she can do whatever she feels like.

GMAFB, it does not take a sabermetric stat geek to see that a DeWayne Wise shouldn't get anywhere near as much playing time as he got with the Sox. You don't even need to see his stats at all. This isn't worth that much attention to be honest. Hence my post earlier.

When is the last time there have been so many absolute dogs*** teams in the NFL? Rams Browns Raiders Bucs Chiefs Titans Panthers Bills (underachieving a lot) Lions (getting better though) Redskins That's almost 1/3 of the league. 4 are winless, 2 (Rams and Browns) might not even win a game all year.

iamshack I don't see how you came to the conclusion that Floyd would feel alienated if Danks ended up getting more than he got. Floyd knew what he was doing when he signed his deal, in fact he probably felt relieved considering his shaky history with Philly and finally getting a nice payday. Danks rolled the dice on the assumption that he would continue his level of performance, knowing that if he did his contract would be worth more. These guys understand it's a business.

2K5's question seems irrelevant but it was spot on and exactly to the point. It's not as much about the employee as it is about the continuity. As long as Wal-Mart isn't capping their employees in the back of the head or putting them in ridiculously unsafe working conditions and crossing their fingers hoping they die I don't see where there's a problem.

I tried this twice when I was 15 and both times they sent me a letter back basically saying no.
