The B game is a split squad game but usually the rosters are unevenly divided with most the better players going to the A game.

I believe the Giants used the scoreboard but I don't remember exactly. Also they didn't tell them exactly what pitch was coming, I think just whether it would be a fastball or offspeed (still a huge advantage).

Actually I should have clarified because I only heard this on the GameFAQs MVP 2004 messageboard. Alot of rumors have been flying around there but some people have said the second roster update will not be out until the All Star Break. The person that said this also said it was in Game Informer.

They will. The second roster update is not expected until after the All Star Break.

Just for accuracy, Francis Beltran gave up the grand slam and not Matt Clement.

To go so far as to say a team with a very similar lineup as last years 86 win squad has "no talent" was a bit much.

I can cheer for Ray Durham and maybe AJ Pierzynski cuz he is no longer a Twin and I always liked him.

Man it's gonna suck when I go to Japan this summer. I am gonna miss the All Star Game, the Cubs series, EVERYTHING with no way to hear any broadcasts. The only thing I'll have is the stupid MLB.com highlights that usually show 1 or 2 homeruns. Maybe I can get a Yakult Shingo jersey though, that would be my only saving grace.

Not to mention his only career REAL hit during a spring training game off of Mike Sirotka.

It's been a while since Big Hurt Baseball came out. Seeing Frank on the MVP cameos should bring back some old memories.

The White Sox 2004 calendar I saw at the store had Colon, and Jimenez in it. Good to see Frank on there though.
