  1. One of these things is not like the other BTW I think Edwin Jackson has a serious shot at doing some damage in the Dodger rotation this year.
  2. Buehrle - 18 Loaiza - 16 Garland - 13 Schoeneweis - 11 Porzio's Whorzios (#5) - 8
  3. SP - Buehrle SP - Loaiza SP - Garland SP - Schoeneweis SP - Grilli LR - Wright MR - Santiago MR - Politte MR - Wunsch SU - Marte SU - Takatsu CL - Koch 2B - Harris LF - Lee DH - Thomas RF - Ordonez 1B - Konerko 3B - Crede SS - Valentin C - Olivo CF - Rowand IF - Gload (Could be replaced by a FA) IF - Uribe C - Alomar Jr. OF - Benard (Armando Rios 2k4) I've always liked putting a fast OBP guy at the #9 spot in the order. That's why I've put Rowand there but if Willy struggles I could see Rowand batting leadoff and Willy demoted to 9.

    TV Shows

It's a tossup between History Channel and Sci-Fi channel. For some reason I would much rather live in the past or the future than the present.
  5. Lucid dreaming is pretty cool. There are ways to train yourself to have more lucid dreams. What you do is during the day, periodically check yourself to see if you are dreaming. If you do this on a regular enough basis, your mind will get accustomed to this habit. Then when you dream, there's a good chance you will become aware and be able to fly around and stuff. It's weird cuz sometimes you can feel your body lying on the bed but you can't move it or anything. Wild.
  6. This team HAS to get out to a hot start. These guys have shown themselves unable to dig themselves out of an early season hole unless you count 2003. I don't count 2003 because we still lost the division. I also am excited about this season and the possibility (knock on wood) that this team will play the OPPOSITE of corpseball.
  7. I almost forgot the Royals lost Ibanez. The less times we have to see him in a season, the better.
  8. My contention is that he was down about 20 RBI from his average over the past four seasons 1999-2002. 2002 may have been a career year but his swinging for the fences and GIDP totals have to weigh into people's minds along with the 2003 decline in numbers.
  9. Caught it on MTV2 last night as i was fallin asleep. MTV2 could become my favorite channel if they keep showin that along with Beavis & Butthead every day.
  10. Battlefield 1942 [shlitz] krew Call of Duty sometimes
  11. ...he had another below average season by his standards like in 2003? Especially if Carlos, Frank, and maybe PK had very good seasons. Two below average seasons in a row is hard for anybody to ignore and could significantly lower his free agent value after '04. Does anyone think we would have a better chance of keeping Maggs if his value was seriously depreciated after 2004, or does he really just wanna get the heck out of Dodge?
  12. There's 5 more pictures of the 2-headed baby on Ogrish http://www.ogrish.com/index2.php?include=v...4668&&element=8
  13. Next time I get a piece of mail without a return address, I'll use my mad skillz to figure out where it came from.
  14. Someone find that picture of a dead horse being beaten...severely.
  15. The career batting average over .300, the batting title, the 2 MVPs to Bagwell's 1, some pretty sick OPS numbers and the final HR and RBI titles will make Frank Thomas a first ballot HOFer. Championships or no championships. (Hopefully championships).
  16. Ok... the auction has gone all the way back down to $6100 because bidders must be "pre approved". My bid for 205,000 got erased as well
  17. This may be more of an ownership than a GM issue but Stoneman of the Angels has done what everybody should do. On the strength of a World Series champion the year before, they have gone out and acquired a number of free agents to put themselves in the thick of AL West competition if not the top. So many teams it seems rest on their laurels when they win a championship instead of trying to build a dynasty.

    T-Zones

I use the cheapest T-Zones on my package. Very useful during baseball season for getting updated White Sox scores when I need em. I used to download some ringtones from WAP sites once in a while but that quickly eats up your bytes.

    Fight Songs

Michigan and USC are the first two that pop into my head when I think of good fight songs.
  20. http://detroit.tigers.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/d...s_det&fext=.jsp This article says its a verbal agreement but other sources say he has signed. As expected $40 million over four years with the injury clause. How many games will we lose to the Tigers in 2004?
