  1. QUOTE (Jake @ Apr 23, 2012 -> 12:33 PM) I don't at all regret paying for MLB.tv, but I love being able to watch on my TV instead of laptop No Ps3?
  2. QUOTE (Stan Bahnsen @ Apr 20, 2012 -> 07:07 PM) I'm really looking forward to Molina's and Castro's next starts. Who's with me? Molina tonite. Castro Sunday (I'm guessing) for the Barons. These guys could be a big part of the near future and redemption for KW. Or not. Any way to watch said games free online? Highly unlikely. But you can purchase MiLB.tv for like $9.99 a month, or like $30 for the whole season. It's a helluva deal if you like to follow the minor leaguers.
  3. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Apr 22, 2012 -> 10:48 PM) Tonight's Mad Men! Not a movie. But if we are going w/ TV shows, then the Sox play a somewhat significant role in Boardwalk Empire. Also, Still Standing and Shameless have made mentions.
  4. I hope he can keep up this wolf in sheep's wool act for a long time, at least long enough to pad our record with a bevy of wins.
  5. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Apr 22, 2012 -> 10:03 PM) Do they still have Ichi-Rolls? The sushi concoction named after Suzuki, think they sold them in the OF when I was last there around 2003 or 2004. That.Is.Awesome.
  6. Obviously goalies in the NHL are incredibly more valuable than a CF in baseball, but I feel that Chicago's goalie situation recently has been like the Sox CF situations. They always have fringy guys there. Never anyone completely awful, but never anyone you can pencil in to the future. Have tried to do patchwork with veterans, and have tried to throw young guys out there, but have always found "in-between" type guys.
  7. Chris Sale now leads the majors in K's. 32 Ks in 24 1/3 IP. He is averaging 8 ks per start. EDIT: Nevermind, I lied. ESPN apparently updates their stats in real-time because I added his last start twice. Still has 21 K in like 17 IP though. Unfortunately, that goes along with 7 BB. A 11.1 K/9 is awesome, but a 3.7 BB/9 is not good at all.
  8. QUOTE (GoodAsGould @ Apr 13, 2012 -> 06:31 AM) He clearly meant that in his opinion Dan Hudson was more than enough for Edwin Jackson and the fact our gm included another good pitching prospect is laughable. Overall I'm a KW fan but he has made a few major screwups these past few seasons. Exactly. I didn't have a problem with Hudson for Edwin. Future talent for current talent. But throwing in Holmberg was the tipping point for me.
  9. QUOTE (greg775 @ Apr 20, 2012 -> 02:39 PM) Where did AJ get this power stroke this year? Remember last year when he had no pop in his bat most of the year? The ball is rocketing off his bat. I predicted right before the season started that this would be AJ's most powerful season of his career. So far, so good.
  10. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Apr 20, 2012 -> 11:06 AM) AMC is up there, at least for Mad Men and Breaking Bad. What does Showtime have? I never got into Nurse Jackie, Californication or Dexter. The Borgias is OK, but nothing great. Shameless Dexter Homeland The Borgias Weeds In that order, for me. Showtime is probably my favorite network on TV (and I don't even have that channel. lol)
  11. I'm pretty sure that puck could have been shot in with a pool stick. Absolutely horrendous that that puck just SLID the f*** in. Corey had roughly 20 feet to stop that puck. Holy f***. Next game is Saturday, right? Good. I'll be f***ing demolished at IU's little 500, and I won't have to deal with that s***. Hope I don't start picking random fights though....
  12. Garbage team is garbage. I can't believe there are any teams worse than the Hawks on the power play. That's mind blowing to me.
  13. Brady Shoemaker went 3/4, 2 HR, 2B. Hitting .362 now. He is 24. It's time to push him to AA and see if he continues to hit.
  14. Terry Doyle flat out dominated. 8 IP, 2 H, 1 ER, 3 BB, 11 K.
  15. Clearly Flowers is teaching AJ how to hit homeruns.
  16. QUOTE (kev211 @ Apr 19, 2012 -> 12:16 AM) Watched it live. Literally blew my mind. Literally? You were able to operate a computer with a blown mind? Sorry, misuse of literally is a pet peeve of mine.
  17. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Apr 18, 2012 -> 08:42 PM) Ok, so 1st and 2nd, with 2 outs.....well, once Beckham strikes out of course. There it is. Atta girl!
  18. Ok, so 1st and 2nd, with 2 outs.....well, once Beckham strikes out of course.
  19. 5 straight base runners. I like that. Would have been another run, is Rios wasn't awful at stealing bases.
  20. QUOTE (justBLAZE @ Apr 18, 2012 -> 08:38 PM) So does De Aza, right? De Aza is 1 and 1, so, no.
  21. Rios has more CS than SB so far, right? EDIT: Yep. He is 1 for 4 in SB attempts. Awful.
  22. QUOTE (kapzk @ Apr 18, 2012 -> 08:30 PM) 0-2 and couldnt put away chavez... Yeah, Peavy should throw his waste pitch 7 feet in the air, not 6.
  23. QUOTE (knightni @ Apr 18, 2012 -> 07:23 PM) Moyer Beats Padres in Denver. Tells SD To "Get Off My Lawn." TheOutsidePitch ‏ @TheOutsidePitch Jamie Moyer, who turns 50 this fall, admits he never did like his outfielders. "I always yell at them to get off my lawn, but they never do"
