  1. If it's June and Freddy Garcia is just half good and half bad, but Hudson is ALL good at Charlotte, I want him in the rotation. But we'll cross that bridge...
  2. Our long national nightmare is over. Ladies and gentleman, the 2010 season has begun.
  3. The frustrating thing is that there have been some positives this season. They just look like they're finding ways to lose.
  4. Threets. 1.1 scoreless innings tonight. Just saying.
  5. I'll give Freddy some kudos. I thought he would get smoked today. He and Linebrink were great. I don't think I've ever had a negative word about Gordon Beckham. He was pretty bad today.
  6. If the Twins don't score at least 8 runs today, I'll be shocked.
  7. Yes, the Sox have to start at noon because of the Fox game at 3.

Kannapolis lost two games... 0 runs on 3 hits combined in 14 innings of baseball. Sweet.

6 shutout innings for Carlos Torres. We'll see him back in Chicago sooner or later, the way the bullpen is looking.

The more I watch Pierrre, the more I want to follow Jordan Danks. He's 2-2 tonight.
  11. It's not his MLB debut, but ok. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Apr 9, 2010 -> 03:29 PM) Lucy.. Welcome to the big leagues.
  12. Alexei is closer to being benched than being the leadoff hitter. It's not a good idea.
  13. No way he starts tonight against a lefty. Day game tomorrow against Freddy. He'll be in the lineup tomorrow.
  14. I hope he doesn't play at all tonight. I wouldn't want to see cheering for him in a big pinch hit situation. First AB on Saturday, absolutely.
  15. Indians catching prospect Carlos Santana went 4-5, double and two homers. Lou Marson is not long for that job.
  16. Ouch! That's the chance you take when you're on twitter. He better have thick skin. This isn't KC.
  17. Played for both teams? QUOTE (PeavyTime @ Apr 8, 2010 -> 11:44 PM) What's that have to do with today's Indians/White Sox game?
  18. Nix will probably be in there against Liriano. QUOTE (hawkubes @ Apr 8, 2010 -> 11:32 PM) Im joining the conversation late, but I am gonna be sick to my stomach if Mark Teahen is in the starting lineup tomorrow. The guy's been brutal, and imo he cost us the game tonight
  19. I'm not a fan of Quentin sitting for 30 minutes between his at-bats. He'll go nuts.
  20. It's so obvious that the regular lineup should be: Pierre LF/DH, Beckham 2B, Quentin RF, Konerko 1B, Rios CF, Pierzynski C, Jones DH/LF, Teahen 3B, Ramirez SS Occasional DH for Quentin and Konerko. Spot starts for Kotsay, Nix, Vizquel, and the catcher. Come on, Ozzie. Use your head.
  21. I'm agreeing with all of this JOnes/Rios stuff. Rios should be firmly implanted in CF.
  22. Heyward's swing is a thing of beauty. Double down the rf line.
